I like the idea of 20 per semi rather than 19 as well. I agree that the voting period could do with being a bit longer too.

 

"Wrong semi final curse" is certainly annoying for songs that seem to have potential to do far better in a Final scenario, so Top 20 should reduce many occurrences of this. I agree that Skall's entry in particular had potential to do so much better than its semi position suggested! :(

Fine you can have 20 qualifiers but the voting window is already a week. We'll just make sure that's actually going to be a week then by curtailing confirmation to 5/6days
