Just quickly Tulisa Ha Flop can't even make top 40 as she sits at 41.

So kicking off the top 40 is the 3rd biggest seller of last year with the magnificent ghost storming into 40th place after grabbing a few more weeks and I believe taking it's total sales pass 2.2M. Their are a lot of double artists in this section and Ella has a song dedicated to Ella's biggest fan on buzzjack in at 34 with Mirror Man which has been a massive success. The song has spent 11 weeks top 40 and has sold over 200k despite only peaking at 14 [so far]. Lucie Silvas also gets double entries in this section- first up is How To Lose It All from her new ep and has sold nearly 200k despite only peaking at 12. Her other entry is the 2003 beauty What You're Made Of which I have always loved but never knew what song it was- anyway it made it to lucky number 7 and is now spending forever between 31-40. The last double entry comes from The Veronicas who worryingly have their September 2014 release outselling their new single in 2015. If You Love Someone has still done quite well though and you ruin me continues to slay as the beautiful ballad passed/nearly passed 3x platinum. Queen of the charts Taylor Swift surprisingly only has 1 entry here in the form of the beauty should be future single Out Of The Woods which finally fell out this week and shifted an extra 200k in 2015. Ella Eyre scored her 3rd chart hit and DJ Fresh got his first since Hot Right Now with the nice but boring collaboration Gravity and Lana Del Rey scored another long running low peaking hit in the form of the 5 minute I Can Fly from Big Eyes. I am so so excited for Wolf Alice's debut album and Giant Peach gives me big hope and it reached a new peak of #2- could be a future #1 for me as I am seeing them live in a couple of weeks.

UGH looks like people will be directing their Natalia Kills jokes at me :(

 

I feel as though "Lighthouse" might get #1 because of that extra week it was on the chart, but it could be Ellie... Such a wildcard...

Kicking off the top 30 is Imagine Dragons with the ok but nothing special IIIIII bet my life which peaked well before freefalling down the chart. Meghan Trainor's bass continued to rake in the cash as she brings booty back for a total now over 1.6M. Melodyfestivalvalen discovery which Liam recommend to me Don't Stop by Isa which is pretty much a cover of Shake It Off has been a big hit here shifting over 275k in 4 weeks. 2 new recent 1's follow next with Psycho shifting nearly 280k despite going 1-17 and Charli XCX finally got her 1st long deserved #1 considering she has a million seller with Fancy and a nearly million seller with Break The Rules in the form of Red Baloon which has shifted 280k in only 2 weeks. Sia scored her 2nd chart hit as Elastic Heart peaked at 6 and had a very similar run to Chandelier and Cheryl finally goes top 10 this week after lunging between 11-15 for ages and Only Human has sold loads here and will probably outsell her #1 smash I Don't Care. Again only 1 Taylor Swift song here :o This one is in the form of Wonderland which is one of 3 Taylor tracks to reach a new peak in 2015 and Wonderland hung around for a long time despite it's low peak and is another silver certified song from 1989. Fergie look set to have a massive hit with La Love but turned out to be incredibly frontloaded and it has sold 330k [15k from streams] so it disappointed a bit. Kelly Clarkson had a big comeback with Heartbeat Song smashing into 3rd and selling a lot- it just misses the top 20 biggest sellers at this stage and will no doubt climb higher in the YTD as it is set to return to top 10 this week.

A lot of 2014 #1's here- 3 to be precise and another 2014 hit that missed #1 by 3k. Add that to 2 other 2014 debut songs then this is a really heavy 2014 section. Rihanna's big return has resulted in 2 big hits for her here with Kanye and an unknown artist called Paul McCartney giving her a big hit on FourFiveSeconds which peaked at #6 and will probably go gold and her home soundtrack song Towards The Sun which is currently smashing and loves being in 3rd [it is set for it's 4th consecutive week at #3 at the moment]. Talking of comebacks Florence + The Machine FINALLY returned with an absolute amazing What Kind Of Man which has given them one of their biggest hits yet and is refusing to go away. Bre's favourite Echosmith continued to shift copies of Cool Kids this year and after struggling and getting lost in the Christmas rush last year- Leave While I'm Not Looking finally started storming the chart in mid February and has now peaked at 9 and sold a total over 400k- another hit for Paloma this era. Double Taylor next as number 2 massive seller wildest dreams continued to sell loads and New Romantics also continued smashing and fell out of the YTD top 10 at the last second [it was 9 last week :o]. Just missing out on the top 10 is Charli and Rita with utter pop gem Doing It which is another big selling Charli hit and peaked at #2.

And Slaying 18th place with another 350k is QUEEN IDINA LAST YEARS 1 with the beautiful masterpiece Let It Go which is still top 25, I am sure you are all so happy about it continue to slay- especially Thermo :heart:

In the 6-10 section for 2015 so far we have triple Taylor, breakout star Meghan and massive popstar Madonna. Kicking off the top 10 is Dear Future Husband which peaked at 2 on the back of the album release and is hanging around well now it is a single. Madonna had a surprise success in my chart with the massive Living For Love which she performed at the Brits and fell off the stage. The 1st of 3 Taylor tracks is from her biggest hit Shake It Off shifting another 660k in 2015 to put it's total pass 5M. I Know Places only peaked this year after being the only 1989 track to miss the top 40 originally but my slowly falling in love with the track saw it hitting #1 in January and selling nearly an extra 700k so far. The penultimate Taylor track comes from 2nd single Black Spae which sells another 725k to push it's total passed 2M.

This years top 5 features 4 #1's and a massive number 2. Starting off the top 5 is Kate Winslet with the beautiful What If which went straight into #1 after I got the Now Movies album for Christmas and it has shifted over 800k so far. Lips Are Movin is a million seller but is not a sales only million seller yet though this is Meghan's 2nd gigantic hit here and another massive #1 for her. Style missed the number 1 but has spent forever in the top 10 and has shifted over 1.1M copies in 2015 and is Taylor's last song to appear in the countdown. Ellie Goulding zooms straight into 2nd with 50SOG song Love Me Like You Do which spent 4 weeks at #1 and has sold 1.11M copies so far. Miles away at the top at the moment is Lighthouse by G.R.L which is one of the best and most beautiful songs in years. The song only spent a week at #1 but has still not left the top 5 and in the process is nearly 3x platinum and a big contender to be the biggest seller of the year.

Lighthouse is okay but my least fave in your top 3. Hopefully 'Style' overtakes Ellie soon as it's greater. Not big on 'What If'
