iLL Blu are a production duo from London, who have been gathering momentum for a few years now. They are quite versatile, starting in UK funky, producing all of Sneakbo's chart hits and releasing a House EP last year. Heavily played by 1Xtra.

Their new single is called Lonely People and features a certain James Morrison. It's a radio-friendly house song, with the brass instruments in the chorus creating a summer feel!

Could be a hit, are people feeling this?

Just had a listen and it's not a bad track actually, his vocals work unexpectedly well on a dance track. It doesn't scream out hit though.

Think this will get radio support, particularly if there's hype about James Morrison's return. If so, then who knows how well it will do? Surely top 40 though.
Awesome   ~ this needs to be a sizable top ten smash :cheer:

Sounding great in the sun right now.

The songs decepitvely simple when you first hear it, but I assure you its a massive grower!

Pushed back to the 1st of June. It's Mistajam's "Jam Hot" record of the week and the OCC have listed it as a potential summer smash!

Really hope this goes at least top 40, its turning into one of my favourite tracks of the year so far

I initially found the chorus of this a bit underwhelming and still slightly prefer the verses but the whole thing's really growing on me now. I've always liked James' voice and it complements the track very well. Hope this is a decent-sized hit. ^_^

Been pushed back again to the 21st June!

Hopefully that's because its been getting radio adds from Kiss and 1Xtra recently and the label think this is gonna be a hit. I've played this to plenty of people who say they've heard this and liked it.
