September 18, 200618 yr Well if you heard their album you may think otherwise. Their music was way different to the busted/mcfly "guitar pop". Very different. They share the immature goofy image but the music was harder, especially tracks like "Sick". But most people just wrote them off. They even used the same producers as blink and avril lavigne. September 18, 200618 yr im not in any way shocked to hear h emay get dropped he hasnt set the charts on fire really
September 19, 200618 yr I actually like him and think he has huge potential esp considering how good the first song was. I hope he pulls a Robbie Williams and release a great song next I have warmed to Matt a lot since he's gone solo, and I hope he gets more of a chance, but one of Matt's big limiting factors is that he's not a very good singer. In fact, he's not much of a singer at all, with both singles to date relying on the production and electronic effects to compensate. I don't think he can pull off a ballad, no matter how good it is, and it's normally ballads that rescue careers, because they break out of genres.
September 19, 200618 yr It's ashame, because Matt's a talented kid. It's understandable the label is breathing down his neck, because his last 2 singles AND the album have bombed. I hope he picks his career back up!
September 19, 200618 yr many UK record companies have a rule....the first 2 singles must go top10 or is it top5 or the artist is dropped, rooster and alesha are in danger too
