Could this finally dethrone SYA from the US Hot 100? I think if she gets a 300k+ sales week, YT streams reach 25m+ and she's got a chance, it's just radio that takes time to get on board. The remix is phenomenal, and I think they cut both of Taylor's verses so that it would impact Urban Radio in the US as well as Top 40 and Rhythmic. US Station Z100 (Urban) already stated they're playing this on the hour every hour, so who knows B-)

Z100 is actually a pop station! I think urban stations would be resistant to playing a Taylor Swift single, but then again if this becomes massive they'll probably be obligated to play it anyway, epecially as this is the most she's leaned towards hip-hop.

 

Also, I don't know if it'll go #1 but I think re-entering in the top ten is possible. I want to be conservative with my predictions but if something as comparatively low-key as "Sugar" could debut in the top ten then surely this can.

Oh sorry my bad! I thought Z100 was on Urban, I know it was played Hot 97 in NY which is Urban :) - I think it's the Kendrick effect though. He's arguably the biggest rapper in the U.S. so far this year (perhaps Drake is bigger, Big Sean also) so he definitely adds more appeal for the Urban audiences.

 

Yeah I completely agree with 'Sugar' - number 8 debut purely for it's MV I believe - but Taylor is arguably the biggest pop star in the world right now - we'll be able to predict further when VEVO 24H comes through!

This is quite a turnaround, I really enjoyed this on one listen, might have to do an about turn on the 1989 era with the greatness of this remix. Coupled with that crazy good video, and this feels incredibly well-managed and a lovely song as well.

Struggled to find the remix on iTunes of 'Bad Blood' - It only eventually showed up when I searched for Kendrick Lamar, Purchased now - This is going to be huge :w00t: Shame it's not on streaming as I think it would have taken off immediately.

Living for the remix. The beat is just amazing. The only thing is, I'd have kept at least one of Taylor's verses in, in addition to both of Kendrick's. Waiting for an edited extended version with both.

I love that Kendrick has two verses in the remix. He feels like an actual presence in the song unlike in most remixes (or songs, really) where the raps feel tacked on.
