May 9, 201510 yr Author 21 Katie Price 6.92 22 Leslie Jordan 6.89 23 Edele Lynch 6.82 24 Nicola T 6.66 25 Cheryl Fergison 6.63 One of the biggest shock early evictees ever, Cheryl Fergison of CBB9 is the first of this bunch. It was especially shocking because 5 housemates were up and she was the favourite to win at the time :o I think she'd have been a brilliant housemate if given a bit more time. Nicola T is one of the more underrated C4 CBB housemates I think <3 She was so lovely and likeable and should have been a contender to win. It's a shame she fell at the last hurdle and evicted close to the final! Edele Lynch was one of about four housemates of CBB14 who was actually decent (along with Frenchy, Claire and Lauren) and didn't ruin herself through the run (hai Dee). She wasn't anything exciting but she was just lovely and once Frenchy went she was the only one left to really root for... So naturally she came last in the final (we won't talk about the horrific top 3, probably the worst ever which is symoblic for by far the worst series of CBB ever). Leslie Jordan was from the same series, but considerably less likeable. I was very excited to see Beverley Leslie from Will & Grace in the house, and he was fab for a couple of days... But then he became just awful really. So arrogant, with a real air of self importance. Nasty man. I guess he was entertaining though which made him better than a fair amount of his peers that series... The most recent winner Katie Price just misses the top 20! She wasn't the most dynamic and exciting winner ever, but I was very happy she won. Especially given the alternative was feeding that troll Hopkins with the satisfaction of winning.... Sure, Hopkins was a "better" housemate but I think Pricey, in not rising to it and being a far more likeable person in general, was more deserving of the win.
May 10, 201510 yr I could never understand why Nicola wasn't as popular, I thought she was going to win, especially as Sophie had just won the normal BB and was very similar to her!
May 10, 201510 yr I thought Nicola was generally quite well regarded (relative to her contribution to the show, anyway)? She seemed like a lovely, fun-loving person but not a particularly interesting housemate. Stephanie was the clear female star of that series for me.
May 10, 201510 yr Author 16 Kerry Katona (CBB8) 7.32 17 Karissa & Kristina Shannon (CBB9) 7.13 18 Denise Welch (CBB9) 7.03 19 Stepahnie Beacham (CBB7) 6.96 (one 11) 20 Amy Childs (CBB8) 6.96 (no 11s) The top 20 starts with a tie of the two final housemates with an average lower than 7. Losing the tie is Essex girl Amy Childs, who was a highlight of the first Channel 5 series. Well, for a bit anyway.... Amy was as ditzy, fun and loud as you'd expect from a TOWIE alumni, and that was great to see, refreshing in the house even. Soon enough though, she became a bit bitchy and rather unlikeable and nasty. This cost her a decent placing in the final, as she only came 5th. With his 11, Noahspike helps Stephanie Beacham win the tie and place 19th! I never really got the fuss with her if I'm honest, but that was an awful series looking back and she was one of the better housemates. She was less stuck up than I expected though, I don't know why I expected that but I did... The second CBB winner during the C5 run, Denise Welch, is just in front. I found her to be about the best that series I suppose, except maybe Nicola Maclean, but again it wasn't a great series. She is well remembered for flashing her boobs in the pool and having a major rivalry with Michael Masden in the hosue that raged for more or less the whole series. I think she was a deserving winner, she had her off moments but her heart was in the right place and she wasn't too boring or anything. Karissa & Kristina of the same series are just above Denise, despite finishing below her in that series' final. I found them to be quite entertaining as the token Americans who nobody knew. They did get a bit irritating and bratty as time went on but in their series they did bring a lot to the table and made it entertaining. I remember Denise pulling their trousers down or something though, I didn't watch that series fully so it's hazy but it was brought up during Jeremy Jackson's ejection in the latest CBB series! Finishing this section is the wonderful Kerry Katona, who I feel redeemed herself in the eyes of the public on the show in 2011. Her secret task to act like a diva was one of my fave parts of that series, but she was altogether just lovely. A lot warmer and funnier than I expect but she wasn't a pushover. She went from strength to strength and I really expected her to win :( Her coming 2nd to Paddy is one of the biggest injustices in CBB history, if not THE biggest. He's the second worst winner behind Gary.
May 13, 201510 yr Author 11 Shilpa Shetty 7.57 12 Brigitte Nielsen 7.56 13 Courtney Stodden 7.50 14 Liz Jones 7.50 15 Julian Clary 7.45 Julian Clary is (perhaps surprisngly, I didn't expect it) one of the highest winners! I normally don't like campy older male housemates, but he was aright considering. I don't think he should have won exactly but that was hardly the best series. Liz Jones is a totally different story <3 One of the biggest surprises ever for me in CBB! All I knew about her prior to the show was her journalism, and that gave me no doubts that she'd be awful (well, I thought she'd maybe be Samantha Brick at best). But she was absolutely hilarious in all her misery, mostly unintentionally. Her in the bath trying to win that secret task against Luisa by making she didn't laugh (saying she wanted to kill herself, asking how hard it would be to drown ) is probably my fave CBB moment ever. APPRECIATE: O9yMxcGFkzw Courtney Stodden was a fan favourite in CBB12, and her appeal reaches here too! She was the token "WHO IS SHE" American that season, and her young age at the time made her a bundle of fun for most of the run! She did lose it a bit towards the end as she seemed to really want to go home, and as a result didn't make the final. If she'd stayed at her best I think she could have been the 3rd placed fan favourite actually. One of the earliest CBB housemates in this whole countdown is Brigitte Nielsen, and she represents early CBB by just missing the top 10! My memory of her is hazy tbf as I would have been like 8 at the time, but she was brilliant from what I recall and the clips I've seen since. I think she should have won over the boring top 2 (although Kenzie was lovely) but hey. She is also part of one of the most iconic CBB moments ever, when her ex mother-in-law Jackie Stallone entered as a late entry! The second winner to feature in this bunch is Shilpa Shetty. She needs no explanation really, she was always going to win CBB5 after that awful race row. I think she did a good job of not playing the victim too much though, with all the awful stuff she had thrown at her. She handled herself very well rather than lying down and accepting it or whining and trying to win sympathy. She was definitely a deserved winner after all she went through.
