I saw that i wonder if we are getting the same from some of the other stations.

The best radio tour Will did was for The Hits, performing live tracks, but then the songs were already known.

Will visited signal radio today too.

Looks like we could be getting some music from Will tonight on Wav 105.

From a fan at the radio station.

He did have a guitarist with him yesterday....so a couple of acoustic numbers I expect x
Just finished listening to his Wave interview. Two songs with just guitarist Ben. Like a River and Thank You. :yahoo:

Not sure will need a few more listens.

and they might sound totally different on the album ...acoustic "come on" i did not like but i liked the album version.

Great to hear him again talking and singing again. :yahoo: I thought the first song was good on the first listen, will need to hear the second more, probably understated with it being performed acoustically.

Not what I was expecting. Much prefer the first track to the second. Like others have said need to hear how they sound on the album. Sounds as if the album will be an eclectic mix.

So the second song with the video isn't a single so won't be sent to the radio stations.

Same here but I'm sure they will sound great on the Album, Acoustic versions never do the studio recording any justice. I wonder if he will sing different songs on 5 live and bbc Ulster

I prefer the first song to the second but they always sound different on the Album :)

It was great to hear him on the radio speaking about the Album and singing live again, always a joy :D

Not sure if this is where to post lyrics but here's my attempt at the lyrics for Like A River. Lyrics to Thank You will follow later

Like A River

In my wildest dreams, I wouldn’t feel all these things

But the weight on my shoulders, is too much to bare

So I walked to the river, and I’ll carry it there

You have controlled me, my joy in your hands

You’re the ghost in my footprints, a snake in the sand

But life is much bigger and its taking me

(Chorus)

Its taking me home

Just like a river goes to the sea

Just like a river passing through me

Just like a river feeding my soul

Like a river taking me home

I cry as I push you, deep down in the water

I see your face twisting, your eyes lose their laughter

The water will take you away from me now

There’s peace in the shadows, I’ve chosen to stay

Don’t struggle with me it’s much easier this way

We’ve danced for so long now let go its ok

(Chorus)

Coz I’m going home

Just like a river goes to the sea

Just like a river passing through me

Just like a river feeding my soul

Like a river taking me home

Taking me home

Taking me home

Taking me home

It’s taking me

Mmmmmmmmmm

Mmmmmmmmmm

(Chorus)

Like a river goes to the sea

Like a river passing through me

Just like a river feeding my soul

Like a river taking me home.

Thanks dazzey that's pretty much what I'm hearing to. Very thought provoking lyrics, speaking of his battles with depression I would have thought.

Don't forget

Wednesday 15th April

Afternoon Edition- BBC Radio5 Live Will guesting somewhere between 13:00 and 16:00

And here is my Lyrics for Thank You.

Thank You

Shut in a cupboard, can’t even breathe in the air

Banging my fists, seeing if anyone’s there

I gave you my heart, felt it was the only way

Felt it was love how can love only last for a day

I was under your charge, did you see you did me wrong

I learned to read the signs, to know what was going on

In my heart I hated you, for taking away my sun

(Chorus)

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

Oh my god

You broke my heart

Tore me apart

Thank You

Not a good teacher, you marked my papers all wrong

I sense the danger, as you were dragging me along

In my heart I hated you, for taking away my sun

(Chorus)

Oh my god

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you (Yeah)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Thank you

Oh my god

You broke my heart

Tore me apart

Thank you.

Thank you :D

Should we have a new thread for lyrics?

Just read on TD Will is on 5 Live after 2. He's singing again so I suspect it's the same two tracks.

@will_young31 was very vocal and charismatic today. Some singers are in and out - he made sure everyone in the office knew he was in!

He seems to be enjoying this radio tour which is lovely as it hasn't always seemed the case.
