Great interview on Radio Scotland . Lots of background info on the songs and the story of The River. Also lots of extras to come not always connected to the singles releases. Island sounds like they are going to much better for his creativity than Sony were, who seemed only to be interested in making big bucks.

Thinks his voice sounds very different on this record and the range gets bigger as he gets older. No fillers on the album. Has done his best and sales are out of his hands. Still proud of where he came from and grateful to the public for giving him a career.

Dj says I don't often say this about a man but he has the voice of an angel. :wub:

Has he sung the 2nd song yet they are keeping him waiting it seems surely he has other stations to get to

Think it was only one song. The interview was fine but the current batch of pop songs played..... I think I understand Will and Island's strategy more.

Thought I heard Paul Kennedy say hang around and sing another song thought I was going mad. Would be nice to hear a different song later.

I think it will have been pre recorded. Perhaps they mean't next Friday. There's a few others he visited that haven't aired yet.

We may be able to hear podcasts later. BBC Ulster is next isn't it ?
