The Cramps, possibly the greatest Psychobilly band ever is an excellent place to start.... :)

I've thought of another one who are pretty cool, and underground as well seeing as how that seems to be what floats yer boat - Devilish Presley, a Camden-based Psychobilly band, I dunno what they sound like on album, but live they're really good fun....
