January 29, 20169 yr I do love their remix of Runaway but I concede that it just added an extra layer of MOR to the song. I listen to both versions an equal amount. I enjoyed Would You Be Happier at the time but looking back it was a bit odd and not something I return to now. Incredibly cheesy and it's track 1 placing on the Best Of is a travesty. I found it surprising that they went with something so poppy and fluffy when In Blue had been panned by a lot of critics for being exactly that. I really hope it's not a one-off. I'd love to see some more new music, though I'm still in disbelief that they even returned at all!
February 10, 20169 yr I Do What I Like is the new single, no great surprise as it opened the tour, and it's a great song, my second favourite single choice after White Light. Hope this reignites interest in the album as it's quite a bit different to Bring On The Night, probably their danciest moment since the Dreams remix. Straight onto Radio 2's a-list today too.
February 29, 20169 yr Author They performed 'I Do What I Like' on Lorraine this morning: cfIDffwfyl8 And perhaps more brilliantly 'White Light' has now gone gold - they got their disc whilst being interviewed! http://talkofthetown.ie/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/thecorrs-800x500_c.jpg So great to see this album has done as well as it has. They're doing quite a few open air shows and festivals over the summer so I might have to get to one of those given I couldn't get to the tour.
