Posted May 4, 201510 yr HEAT 08 Hello and welcome to Super Eurovision II: 1995-2014: Heat 8, a home of pretty Israeli boys, Lithuanian shit, Romanian tit shakers and Montenegro's opening slot of the first Semifinal for 3 years in a row. http://www.voxeurop.eu/files/images/article/eurovision-lithuania.jpg Let's start with Israel. They have got a very strong selection of entries so there's a lot to choose from. They bagged themselves a win with Dana International in 1998 so one song has a lot at stake here. But I hope you all will make the f***ing right decision. I really really really really do. That HOLY TRINITY of Boaz + Noa/Mira + Harel though. *.* Romania was much weaker overall. With the exception of Luminiţa who slayed the day in 2005 and maybe Mihai who was sent the following year, they have been sending rather pedestrian basic beige bitch entries. Okay, Playing with Fire and Zaleilah (both of which I'm expecting y'all to put through to the semis) are maybe a bit more than that but yeah nothing much to see with Romania really. Shithuania up next. The crap they have been sending for years and years has finally started to stink up the place. The fact that InCulto was that country's best entry says it all. I really don't know what is going to come out of this heat for Crapthuania. C'est ma vie and Love Is Blind? Either way, this is basically a waste of time. So if you don't bother voting in Stinkthuania's subheat I won't mind. Just do Israel, Romania and Montenegro really. Only beware of Cringethuanian apologetic slave dog AlexRange. He will tear you into pieces if you publicly admit your dislike of Lithuanian entries. It's too late for me hence I'm writing this. And last, but not least (there's still Lithuania in the mix), Montenegro. A country that opened contests they participated in 3 times in a row. This insane 'luck' also didn't give them their first qualification to the final until last year and 6th attempt at Eurovision as a solo project without Serbia and Yugoslavia to hide behind. So far they have by far been the unluckiest/crappiest of the F.Y.R.'s. Maybe this will change soon and at one of the next Super Eurovision editions we will be celebrating Montenegro's 3 consecutive wins between 2016 and 2018 or something *.* ______ ISRAEL http://www.escchat.com/images/flags/big/israel.2015.png > Liora - Amen > Galit Bell - Shalom Olam > Dana International - Diva > Eden - Yom Huledet (Happy Birthday) 2000 > PingPong - Sameach > Tal Sondak - En Davar 2002 > Sarit Hadad - Nadlik Beyakhad Ner (Light A Candle) 2003 > Lior Narkis - Milim La'Ahava 2004 > David D'Or - Leha'amin > Shiri Maimon - HaSheket SheNish'ar 2006 > Eddie Butler - Together We Are One > Teapacks - Push the Button 2008 > Bo'az Ma'uda - The Fire In Your Eyes > Noa & Mira Awad - There Must Be Another Way > Harel Skaat - Milim > Dana International - Ding Dong > Izabo - Time > Moran Mazor - Rak bishvilo > Mei Finegold - Same Heart [zippy] ______ ROMANIA http://www.escchat.com/images/flags/big/romania.2015.png > Monica Anghel & Sincron - Rugă pentru pacea lumii > Mălina Olinescu - Eu cred > Taxi - The Moon > Monica Anghel & Marcel Pavel - Tell Me Why > Nicola - Don't Break My Heart > Sanda - I Admit > Luminiţa Anghel & Sistem - Let Me Try > Mihai Trăistariu - Tornerò > Todomondo - Liubi, Liubi, I Love You > Nico & Vlad - Pe-o margine de lume > Elena - The Balkan Girls 2010 > Paula Seling & Ovi - Playing with Fire 2011 > Hotel FM - Change > Mandinga - Zaleilah > Cezar - It's My Life > Paula Seling & Ovi - Miracle [zippy] ______ LITHUANIA http://www.escchat.com/images/flags/big/lithuania.2015.png 1999 > Aistė - Strazdas 2001 > SKAMP - You Got Style 2002 > Aivaras - Happy You 2004 > Linas and Simona - What's Happened to Your Love? > Laura & The Lovers - Little by Little > LT United - We Are the Winners > 4Fun - Love or Leave > Jeronimas Milius - Nomads in the Night > Sasha Son - Love > InCulto - Eastern European Funk > Evelina Sašenko - C'est ma vie > Donny Montell - Love Is Blind > Andrius Pojavis - Something > Vilija - Attention [zippy] ______ MONTENEGRO http://www.escchat.com/images/flags/big/montenegro.2015.png > Stevan Faddy - 'Ajde, kroči > Stefan Filipović - Zauvijek volim te > Andrea Demirović - Just Get Out of My Life > Rambo Amadeus - Euro Neuro > Who See - Igranka > Sergej Ćetković - Moj svijet [zippy] ______ Israel, Romania, Lithuania - 2 qualifiers. Montenegro - 1 qualifier. ______ QUALIFIERS SO FAR ______ You may vote in ANY or ALL of these four sub-heats. You do that by forming your 10 favourite songs from each country. You must use the traditional Eurovision voting system (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point). If a country had less than 10 participations between 1995 and 2014 then you must rank ALL of their entries but still use the same voting system described earlier. For example, if a country has only 7 entries then your votes will be 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4 points. Vote via PM to Conderella. You have until 23:59 Sunday May 10th, 2015. ______ Schedule. Heat 09: Netherlands, Armenia, Croatia, Bulgaria Heat 10: Monaco, Iceland, Poland, Estonia Heat 11: Czech Republic, Moldova, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina Heat 12: Norway, Russia, Albania, Serbia & Montenegro
May 4, 201510 yr Also Don't Break My Heart simply MUST qualify for the Romanians I'd probably place Romania's run of entries between 2003 and 2006 up there with the all-time greats, second only to Albania 08-12 and France 98-05. Truly the most PRIME progenitors of basic yet life-enhancing slutpop the contest has seen *.*
May 4, 201510 yr Holy hell that Lithuanian line-up really is HORRIFYING. Literally intolerable outside of the top four.
May 4, 201510 yr It looks very poor, I think 'This Time' would've been my clear winner if we included this year!
May 4, 201510 yr Little by Little is gold though. In a "this would do just fine as MF filler", but gold!
May 4, 201510 yr I might just vote in Israel and Romania, maybe Montengro to show Igranka some support *.*
May 4, 201510 yr LOL. It really isn't, in any way. In terms of diversity it's hilariously narrow. In terms of quality it's hilariously basic.
May 4, 201510 yr LOL. It really isn't, in any way. In terms of diversity it's hilariously narrow. In terms of quality it's hilariously basic. Sandra Oxenryd?
May 4, 201510 yr LMAO at the idea that Melodifestivalen isn't diverse compared to an endless line-up of BLONDE WHITE WOMEN singing MY FIRST POP MELODY
May 4, 201510 yr I mean let's face it Sanna defeats a genre dedicated to that entire niche as just a SINGLE ARTIST
