EEEE the memories non-calc/calc maths brings back to me. I got them the wrong way round and completely BALLSED it all up. Thankfully my maths teacher saw the funny side.

 

Do you need a good maths grade for college like?

 

Oh I got a letter saying it was more-or-less compulsary for me to attend. But the state of the postal service is ALWAYS A GOOD EXCUSE :cheer:

 

We did the 2006 paper as a mock exam, and the only question I can remember about it, was this near but impossible question about this guy working out his wages, but the question said his answer was wrong. :arrr: That got near enough everyone phlumped.

 

Not too sure. I need 6 to get to college, but everyone always seems to say as long as you get maths and english lang you'll be fine.

Are you doing higher or lower paper? I did LOWER [shockingly] and near enough got full marks :mellow: Extremely shocked I was. But yeeah it's pish-easy tbh.

I'm doing intermediate. :o The thing with the maths exams though is they're like 2 hours long and normally you normally finish after about 1 hour and a 15 mins, well I did at least.

 

Media studies, Businnes studies, English lang and modern History.

Intermediate is the higher paper isn't it? Yeeah my Design exam is similar but you literally finish in half an hour when you've got 2 hours to complete it. Annoyingg.

Intermediate is the middle paper, there's no way on earth i'd be able to do the Higher paper - it's like ROCK hard. :o That''ve got s the worst thing with exams; some you ages left before you finish and others you only just finish. :(

I'm dreading my last exam in a way, cos it'll really be an end of an era. I mean I dunno whether to envy or laugh at the people who have to go to their School sixth form. :(

I was proper gutted when I left school. Coz in a way i hated it but it's just such a radical change. We went playing basketball on the night when all the exams finished and i was like 'sh*t i'm never gonna see half these people again' [because half the year came] and i was right. There's quite a few i've never seen since :mellow:

 

But yeah I fancied a change anyway so I wouldn't gone to sixth form at my school even if it WAS available. David goes to his school though :lol:

I can imagine me being like that. :( Especially since half of my friends are doing completely different courses to what i'm doing.

 

Sixth form at school sounds rubbish. They have to wear uniform, have bells, call teachers miss or sir and all like that, so it's just like an improved verion of school. :lol:
