Following the big success yet large controversy of last year's Channel 4 documentary, Benefits Street, Series 2 started last night. Now focusing on a street in Stockton-on-Tees, the series has already attracted controversy after the police are said to be looking into drug misuse and criminal activity shown in the first episode. One of the residents has also been back in prison since recording.

Do you find the series exploitative or is it a genuine look at the community of a more deprived area?

I didn't enjoy this series as much. I feel like they were trying to recreate the first series characters in a different part of the country. It didn't really work without White Dee.
