Posted September 18, 200618 yr Many versions of this song exsist right from the very early days of Ev but as most people will probably only know the piano version and the rockier version for when it was released as a single we'll leave it at that :lol: I personally think the rock version why it gives the song more power the piano version defines the record itself, the lyrics, the mood that haunting little piano melody makes me shiver :wub: Something about the other version just doesn't have the same feel about it :lol:

September 21, 200618 yr I think the pure piano version is better to be honest, because the 'rockier' version just comes off as sounding like a pretty bad version of Heart's pretty fantastic classic 80s 'Big Hair RAWK ballad' "Alone" (ask yer parents :lol: )..... I'll maybe try to find the Heart vid in "You Tube" so you can hear for yourself...... :lol:
September 21, 200618 yr I love the rock version :wub: I think she sings it with so much more emotion and it makes me shiver sometimes, when you really get into the lyrics. The piano version is so difficult to get into, maybe that's because I heard the rock version first though? :unsure:
September 21, 200618 yr The rock version. I had the piano version on my computer since 'Daredevil' and made myself sick of it. Then the single edit came out and it was a breath of fresh air.
September 21, 200618 yr I only relised the other day that the single is differnt to the album version :lol: thanks Andre. Erm now that i know there is a differnce i'd probably thave to say the rockier version because she gets into it a bit more.
