Shameful scenes last night in Argentina where four River Plate players were taken to hospital after being sprayed with pepper spray by Boca Juniors supporters in an Copa Libertadores tie.

 

The match was called off after the players were attacked as they came out of the tunnel after half-time:

 

 

 

Shame that this match had to be stopped in that way.

 

 

As expected. Boca Juniors have been thrown out of the Copa Libertadores following the shameful events of Thursday night.
