Was the soundtrack to the movie The Fantastic 4. Was released in Europe (except the uk) and done quite well in places like Germany, Holland, Sweden and many more european places (is in the top 100 or something like that in germany best selling singles of all time)

Although I do think that ben was a right divie and made a wrong move leaving evanescence -_-

oh yeah, ben also has a solo album comming out soon that I willnot be getting -_-

Yeh leaving Ev was a bad choice - I'm not sure if him leaving caused them to lose some of the Fallen touch on the new album as it seems quite bare musically but then again still great lyrically :lol:

 

 

Anyway I loved this collabaration - would've been a certain top 5 in the UK silly of them not to release it

I hate Ben. I'm actually glad he left - I'm glad he stopped putting the rest of the members through grief. I know he always had a hard time etc but the one thing that always stands out in my mind about his departure is Amy saying that in the middle of the night when he announced he was going she knew after that the band was going to be okay.

 

Everything Burns was always a really catchy song though, despite all that. :)

I never knew he was an Evanescense member. :o I liked that song, shoulda stayed with Evvie though.

he also has a really good voice and all! :o

I love this song... I also think Ben Moody shouldn't have left Evanescence.

Jesus, what pile of c**p.... Thank fukk he left the band if that was the direction he was gonna take Ev down..... :puke2: Whoring himself to whatever Pop Star or Film vehicle comes his way is about his level really... The guitarists in Ev now are a 100% improvement...

He did the wrong move by leaving Evanescence.

 

Evanescence did the right move by continuing without him (and it shows, Amy Lee and co. are much happier now). Notice how she actually smiled in their last video?

He's a good writer, it's a shame that he's gone. Amy is a great writer too when she puts her mind to it (Breathe No More, Lithium) but half of the songs she wrote with Terry on the album aren't all that... lyrically.

Im glad that Ben Moody left the band.

 

Despite loving his lyrics in Evanescence's earlier work, he did say he wanted to take Ev in a more commerical direction whereas Amy wanted to be creative. TOD is VERY different but that's what I love about it.. I wouldnt like to think Ev going in such a commerical direction.

 

I think GRIMLY summed it up quite nicely :lol:

I really love Everything Burns and I'm looking forward to a solo album from him. His work is more 'pop/rock' than Amy's but that's what made them a great team. I like TOD a lot but I'm still not fully into it and I think it will be more difficult for new fans to access.

 

I do think Ben has a lot to prove as TOD is such a success so it will be interresting to see what he comes up with.
