American singer-songwriter and hitmaker Meghan Trainor continues to promote her acclaimed debut studio album “Title“, released on digital retailers on 9 January 2015 via Epic Records.

After “Dear Future Husband“, released on March 17th, the singer confirmed the song “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” as the next and fourth official single from the album.

The track was written by Trainor, Justin Weaver and Caitlyn Smith, and produced by Gelbuda and Trainor. It also includes the collaboration of American singer-songwriter and actor John Legend.

The duo will perform the new single live for the first time during 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17th. Trainor and Legend also will perform the track on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon (May 21) and TODAY Show (May 22).

Not my favourite on the album at all but a good choice I think, it's already been played a lot by Heart! Hopefully another top 20 smash for her in the UK.

I'd have much preferred Title but this is not bad, much weaker than Lips Are Movin & Dear Future Husband though.
You also have to bear in mind that she can't just keeping releasing uptempo track after uptempo track. She had to have a slow song to eventually break things up. I quite like this song actually and hopefully it may just shut her critics up as she can sing very well on this.
feat. John Legend

yeah, I can already tell I'm not gonna like this. Although the era hasn't exactly been perfect considering I mute Dear Future Husband on the chart show now.

Lips Are Movin >>>>>

I hope Capital decide to hammer this seeing as they refused to touch DFH with a barge pole

I called this being a single. I keep hearing it at Starbucks for some reason.

However, I don't think it's gonna do as well as the first two singles. Maybe better than DFH but we'll see. If this flops in the US, it will be John Legend's fault.

No they didn't, DFH is on their playlist... :P

It was Radio 1 that snubbed Dear Future Husband for no apparent reason. Although Radio 2 played it a lot so the BBC clearly still like her
Was hoping for Close Your Eyes, 3 am or Bang Dem Sticks

It'll be interesting to see if Radio 1 playlist this. They have no reason not to, but the fact they snubbed DFH makes me think they're for some reason (already) done with her.
Title would be a great fifth single to close the era after this. I still haven't recovered from the injustice of Dear Future Husband

Reminds me of Nicole Scherzinger, massively supporting the first two/three singles but then refusing to touch anything else. Even if it came after a well received single (Right There).

Anyway this isn't remarkable, I found her album disappointing tbh. :( Lips Are Movin will remain her best.

Eh, it's nothing special. The "feat. John Legend' might excite Capital enough to playlist it, Radio 2 possibly also, If this goes on Radio 1 i'd be surprised. Top 25 is my estimate

I still have no idea why Radio 1 refused to playlist 'Dear Future Husband'. The release date was a little bit messed up which makes me believe that it could be the reason. I still think 'Dear Future Husband' has done rather well worldwide with it going top 20 in the UK and US.

I think this will manage another top 20 in the UK as Heart will hammer this enough to make it a decent sized hit! The performance on BBMA had a massive effect as it's now #27 on USA iTunes and #175.

It's currently #449 on UK iTunes.

I'm not sure 'Dear Future Husband' has peaked in America yet as she is finally promoting 'Dear Future Husband'.

Tuesday: Voice Finale - Dear Future Husband

Thursday: Jimmy Fallon - Dear Future Husband / Like I'm Going tO Lose You

Friday: Today Show: Dear Future Husband

Slay Meghan!

So happy adore this :cheer: :cheer:

Though would have preferred title or bang dem sticks as a single

Well done for liking another legendary featuring :kink:

This is already #2 in Australia! :o I wonder if this could do a 'Just Give Me A Reason' and be a massive worldwide smash?
