yes, Yoko was robbed, a genuinely interesting exciting mini-classic beaten out by an over-rated pedestrian soundalike cover of a much better 60's original. Sorry Fall fans, The Kinks did it first and best..... :P

Never have like the Kinks' version. Always sounded rather a lame performance of a great song. The Fall gave it the energy it needed. And the Yoko track is ok but never thought it that interesting. Again I prefer a cover of that by Fuzzbox.

have to agree here, walking on thin ice is fantastic, really hoped it would have comfortably topped the rate but hey ho, at least it came second :cheer:

Tams - There Ain't Nothing Like Shaggin'..... I remember listening to the top 40 with Bruno at the time and this was skipped over and the title wasn't even mentioned. Well obviously as an 8 year old you're very intrigued what shaggin is. I asked my Dad what it meant and he said it was a rug (as in a shagpile rug I guess). hahahahahaaaaaa
