This has done incredibly well to make the top 10 after the shitty skirting the top 20-30 region it did for ages. It's not one of my fave songs by any means but that video is my favourite they've done. The leather clad dancers in the water are fabulous and the black Tiles (is it tiles?) that surround all of them make the video look very classy!

This is a more respectable position than its official one. It's a crime that this didn't make the top 5 officially. It's their beat ballad to date not that there's many :kink: The visuals are stunning and the song itself is absolutely gorgeous! I was absolutely gutted with its floppy chart positions. Can someone make a time machine so I can spend all my wages on this song and get it to #1!

How this only did so well chart wise with a 59p reduction is beyond me. I think this was their first attempt at doing the dance/club sound and I loved it! Should have been much more successful and anyone that says it's overrated is wrong tbh.

 

 

I love this Video it very slightly reminds me of Push The Button by The Sugababes

Notorious sounds like top 5 hit, I'm surprised it wasn't.

And here we have the single that never was and finishing at #7 is fantastic but it's still lower than WAYWF so I don't think that would have done any better had it been released instead. It's a fantastic track though no doubt and not even getting single #2 material is a bit shocking, even by their standards. If they do come back next year with a new album plz tack this on and release it as single #1!

 

 

I just listened to this on youtube and I cannot fathom why they didn't release it. It's surely one of the Beat things they've ever put their name to.

OMG YESS SATS STANS SLAAAAY ME. This is my fave Saturdays single! It's just so amazing and was brilliant for the Summer but the whole #38 flopping was so sad to see as a Sats Stan and it ruined their top 20 streak but now they have a full 20 top 40 streak doing on or is it 19 singles? Either way only a few artists can claim a full 20/19 top 40 streak so I'm still

Aww yay another perfect song coming top 5 although tbh the whole top 5 is flawless! Ego when it was released was without a doubt their best song up until that point and if they'd releases it as the first single from Wordshaker I bet it would have been their first official #1! I actually can't fathom why they'd release FIO over this as the first single although I do come to the conclusion that the bands managers were thinking that releasing the best singles after the albums release would drive sales but sadly it never worked except for Chasing Lights. Imagine where they would be now had they released Ego as the first single for Wordshaker. The video is one of my faves too. It's a proper music video and I wish they had more like it.

 

 

Also can I just say please come back with music like this. This so where you shine GIRLS!

No I don't believe so. She does however create a solo herself in that acoustic video.

 

 

She realise she doesn't have any parts, so she keeps the lyric sheet to herself so she could sing the part no one knew the words of.

Another beast of a song from The Girls. I can happily say that this was my fave single by them at the time of release. This era was flawless imo although as much as I love Gentleman, had they left that on the album and went with this as single #3 (#2) this era would have done so much better but this track grabbed a well deserved official top 5 placing. This Era was without a doubt my fave time to be a Sats fan!

I actually can't describe how much I love Disco Love but was amazing to see them come back with that song so amazingly after Gentleman bombed! They prove they have the will power and the songs to smash so it always so frustrating to see them not trying or making stupid choices with singles etc. I've never seen a band make so many stupid choices is my life haha!

(I thought she was doing the the "Being good's now mah thiiiiing" because "being good" sounded like her but

An instant fan fave and another missed opportunity for a top 10 placing sadly. This was releases far far too late in the era to get anywhere and the lacklustre promo and performances didn't help. I think they knew by this point they were going on a break though. Still this song is incredible even though I wasn't a fan before the album came out!

 

I loved Not Giving Up on their tour, it was one of my favourites. Their vocals, the choreography, the neon light, Totto's crazy dancing !

 

Too bad they never put that much effort in their tv appearances.

And yep that only leaves one song :o
