And I thought Ruth's 70 points for top 10 was low last year!

Brilliant winner and frankly I cannot wait for Sarah Down Finer to nail the hosting job in Stockholm next year to make up for the dreadful job Austria did with it tonight.

UK got 1 point in the very first vote too. British people must've gotten some hopes WAY up from the start. Bless ha :')

It was the second vote tho. Flop.

DANNY SAUCEDO!!!11

lol he'll be about as relevant as engelbert in 2016

(already is)

Hurrah for Måns Zelmerlöw storming the voting in the end and thankfully keeping the Eurovision out of Russia~ :cheer:

Elated Belgium ripped up trees ~ 4th place is a fantastic result for Loïc Nottet

Poor brave Electro Velvet :snif: still at least we actually got a few points unlike Austria & Germany :o

What was so bad with the hosting though? I enjoyed the humour, the blonde woman is my favourite host that I can remember  Conchita was great too and I LOVED the opening with "What If", thought they did a good enough job with it as can be expected.

And Graham was on top form more so than he has been previously imo!

TBF, he could... I mean, he could very easily be the singer of 'Heroes'.

And can't believe despite only scoring 5 points we're fourth from last - gotta take the small victories I guess

To be honest we are are lucky to get 4th from bottom realistically 3rd from bottom if Australia were not in the competition.

I just hope we're in for another shitballs AMAZING Melodifestivalen next year like 2013 :cheer:

Fixed that for you :D

Bring on 2016's equivalent of Ravaillacz and State Of Drama!

5 wins tho

never finished last three times in the past 22 years tho

and didn't have our worst result points wise since jemini

What a fabulous show. I wasn't that shocked when Sweden came back given the draw but it was still really tense, at one point I'd just about lost hope. Polina seems lovely (could be fake tho!!!) but I just don't think I could support any entrant winning for Russia. Have to feel bad for her after how emotional her halfway interview was, but I'm glad she still seemed happy when she got that 12 towards the end.

The results were far from perfect, here are some random thoughts I had on them to interest you all:

- 11th is so disappointing for Georgia considering how fabulous a draw they had

- same goes for Germany going on 0 - can't believe Austria and Switzerland didn't throw them a bone like Ireland and co did for the UK

- feel awful for Bianca of Electro Velvet, she must be crushed

- yay Azerbaijan flopping, glad I wasn't the only one who thought the performance kinda sucked. So bizarre to see them out of the top 10 two years running.

- WHAT HAPPENED SPAIN/GREECE :( Edurne in particular I really thought would do better, the performance was really great if vocally shaky at the end (also who knew that was a #3 hit in Spain)

- Slovenia feel like the draw destroyed them

- HAHAHA DIE AUSTRALIA (serious note: I'm kind of concerned they're gonna be back next year regardless)

Austria completely flopping! Winner's curse once again?

When have winner's done that badly recently? Germany, Azerbaijan, Sweden and Denmark all got top 15 entries in the contests they hosted (Sweden the only one not to go top 10). So Austria are the first hosts to flop since Norway came 20th in 2010.

On cloud 9 right now.

What a f***ing winner. I will be done with exams this summer so nothing is standing in between me and Stockholm 2016.

Largely very good results. Pleased Slovenia made it to the left side of the scoreboard. Belgium did so well and Australia really did brilliantly. They put more effort into one song than the UK has in a decade.

Think the first tear appeared when Måns overtook Russia by the time we hit Norway I couldn't see.

Australia have scored more points tonight than all the UK entries since 2010 combined. #Eurovision

amazing.

omg
