Thank You is the most-played song on Radio Two and sprints 57-22 on the radio airplay chart, providing a boost for Will Young's sixth studio album 85% Proof album, which topped the chart in June and now jumps 60-25 (2,398 sales).

Interesting to see the breakdown of sales/downloads and the effect of lack of streaming.

Thank You would have charted at #87 this week but because of streaming it misses the top 100.

lol poor Suggy, well she kept the faith with Thank You but the next one has to be Promise Me :P and then the 4th one can be Blue :D

I want something thats more likely to get airplay by a lot more stations than R2 (TY would have been dead in the water without them) even smooth fm as not touched either singles and though Magic played LR alot it as barely even played TY. I like 'Promise me' and it fits the bill the most ( though i like others more) so i hope he goes with that .

Without airplay it will probably drop, especially from R2 ( whats happening there ? ) the new A list started on Saturday yet its only been played once in the early hours of sat.

Thanks Sunday. :) I didn't expect it to climb, though the effects of promo is often felt most the following week (though the promo was pretty sparse).

 

I fear radio 2 are gearing up to dropping it next week. :cry: I see Leona and Lemar are getting airplay from other AC radio stations that aren't playing Will. :( Guess it's all down to the choice of single.
