It has been confirmed that Selena got help from BFF Taylor Swift on the writing process for this album. On more than one occassion she sat down with Taylor and her BF Calvin Harris to get tips and she even showed them some of the stuff she had been working on looking for feedback. There are rumors that Taylor may have even written some of the material, but nothing had been confirmed yet. There aren't too many other people in industry if any, I would rather have giving my girl Selena assistance like this.

 

To say that I'm excited for this (more like dying of anticipation) would be a major understatement.

Don't get me wrong! I'm super excited but it frustrates me how her efforts into her album generally end the week it's released. It's compensated by a tour and thats it done.
Lets hope she promotes this era past single one.
THIS. I think I remember her performing "Come & Get It" a multitude of times (her most note-worthy being her hot mess Dancing With The Stars performance), and I didn't get anything for "Slow Down".

Well she is with a new label now and Hollywood Records are notorious for their bad handling of era's (see Demi Lovato as well) so I am confident she'll do more promo

Well it was a fake courtship apparently which isn't too surprisingly as Bieber is working with Zedd.

I'm definitely expecting this to be out this month.

This could be the big era for her, she really has the potential! I agree that Hollywood Records are awful, but Selena has done really well anyway, she could really smash this time around. Even if she doesn't, I'm sure this will be brilliant because she always brings it <3

"Stars Dance" did decent success wise.

 

She probably thought, "oh I'm leaving this shitty record label after this album so lemme just do as minimal as possible and get outta here"

This. Selena has some good songs but her albums are mostly filler and so underwhelming. Hopefully she can buck that trend this time round.

Stars Dance was a great record. Not very many hits on it but they didn't promote the could be smasher Slow Down. Hollywood never do much though. Don't know how Demi managed 4 singles.
I agree about her last album, a lot of the songs were boring. Stars Dance (the song) is the best thing she's done so far.
