Good news

Unfortunately I'll be on holiday, typical :(

That's great news - a good bit of promo in the run-up to the tour

Thanks Sunday.

Yuck Rod Stewart what a massive let down i was expecting someone really good ( he must be one of my all time most hated artists ) ...at least there is no temptation for me to buy tickets now

I used to love Rod Stewart! At least he still sounds much the same as he used to. If it was Elton John or Paul McCartney I'd have had your reaction, both should give up as they can't sing any more.

I think he's a great musician and songwriter and he's brilliant live too. Always keep one of his albums in my car, along with Wills of course and a Motown compilation. :D

I fall somewhere in the middle with Rod. I've never been a fan of his voice but appreciate some of his early material. I would agree his voice is pretty much like it's always been but I won't be upset about missing him.

Elton John and Paul Mc Cartney, on the other hand have long been well past their sell by date.

Oohh i wonder if Will will do some extra acoustic performances.

Coverage of the event, including full sets and performances from the day, will be available to watch on BBC Red Button, BBC iPlayer and the Radio 2 website, which will also feature exclusive backstage footage, acoustic sessions and interviews from the event.

For more information about this year’s festival go to bbc.co.uk/radio2‎

Sounds promising Sunday.

My hubby has already said he doesn't think I'll be much company on the first day of our holiday. Good job this is the first year we've gone with other family members.

I will be able to access the radio 2 website from abroad won't I ? :o
