October 29, 20168 yr So excited for this! The first series is one of my favourite tv series that I've ever watched!
October 29, 20168 yr SO so excited for this tomorrow! Hopefully this is as good as the first series because I feel as though follow ups on my faves always struggle.
October 29, 20168 yr I just finished watching Series 1 online, so good  can't wait for tomorrow!
October 31, 20168 yr Anyone watched the first episode last night, a great start, bit slow in places, some new characters along the way, hopefully it picks up a gear or two, as I found it a bit all over the place.
October 31, 20168 yr I was so interested at first, then I felt the episode dipped a little then brought me back at the end. Strong start and I can't wait to see where this goes
October 31, 20168 yr I was actually quite gripped throughout and I'm glad they've introduced an international element now.
October 31, 20168 yr Fairly decent if unspectacular episode, a lot of different plots going on that I hope it doesn't overload things, but still potential to be great. I agree that I like that they've expanded it abroad as well and am particularly intrigued by that storyline. Edited October 31, 20168 yr by Undead Wombat
September 22, 20177 yr After what seems like an age since a 3rd Series was confirmed back in May, filming has now started for the new series. Katherine Parkinson (Laura), Gemma Chan (Mia), Tom Goodman-Hill (Joe), Emily Berrington (Niska), Ivanno Jeremiah (Max) and Ruth Bradley (Karen) are all confirmed to be returning, as is Colin Morgan (Leo) and Lucy Carless (Mattie), Pixie Davies (Sophie) and Theo Stevenson (Toby). Mark Bonnar will join the cast as Neil Sommer who is a scientist and will develop a connection with Laura. Series 3 will pick up 1 year after the end of Series 2 so we will see what the world has become since the synths 'woke up' and living in a divided society. June 25, 20187 yr Author for some reason I took about 8 months to finish the second season but I'm basically watching this series as soon as it is broadcast! I'm enjoying it a lot more and I think it's because it's a lot more focused. It is sort of the first time it only really has all the characters together in one plot line. There's only really Neska who is separated but her journey is still integral to the main one. Gave some shocking moments so far and I'm sure the finale will deliver like they usually do!
May 30, 20196 yr Author Been over a week now but it has been revealed that this won’t be returning for Series 4 :( LOVED the first series, not sure why but I struggled with the second but I really got back into it with the third so sad at this news! I feel there were certainly lots more stories to tell. It was a massive hit for Channel 4 but a lot less so for AMC which I think is the reason for the cancellation. The year gap in announcement suggests to me that Channel 4 were trying to find new co-producers but ultimately failed and it was too expensive for them to go alone
May 30, 20196 yr Jeez, didn't expect that - surely it's one of the UKs most popular series over the past few years!
