Another excellent day for United. At the moment however you can't really make a good case for any team winning the league - which is exactly what is needed after last season's non-event.

What a day Saturday was in the Premier League! I went to the Man Utd vs Sunderland match and the atmosphere inside Old Trafford was incredible.

Mata was my man of the match as he was key to a lot of our attacks and he scored a goal & made an assist. Martial played well again making numerous cutting runs and setting up Wayne Rooney, also Mike Smalling carried on his terrific early season form. Sunderland barely had any attacking threat during the match and David De Gea was like 1 of the other 75,000 odd spectators in the stadium.

It was a very comfortable victory but a lot of fans (mostly Man Utd fans) left the stadium a few minutes early and missed Juan Mata's goal

To round off a wonderful day Manchester City lost 4-1 to Tottenham and now we're top of the league! I'm still not sure if we'll win the title though but at least it's not looking like a one-horse race anymore like it did a few weeks ago.

People were daft to call it a one-horse race in the first place. As we've seen so far, losing De Gea or Kompany for longer than a few games would really undermine either club. Long way to go yet.
I can only hope that Bournemouth, Swansea City and Everton do well for the entire season, along with Tottenham....and I can only hope Chelsea continue to do poorly, and that Manchester United/Manchester City both majorly stumble along the way, just to keep knocking them down a few pegs...
Ruud Gullit's analysis of United on MotD last night was by far my highlight of the week. Too many passes and too much possession. I'm under no illusion that we'll be winning the league this season but CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE.

I still have faith in Bournemouth doing well in their first-ever visit to the premier league....

I haven't read anything, but, just how bad is the knee injury to Callum Wilson?

A big blow with Bournemouth with Callum Wilson out for 6 months.

That's a shame! I had him in my fantasy football team and he was one of the star players in the squad during most weeks.

Just went and had a read as to what happened to Callum Wilson...ruptured anterior cruciate ligament is what put him out, and he'll be having it surgically tended to this week...hope he has a speedy recovery/rehab....tough blow indeed to Bournemouth at this stage...but I still have faith they'll do well...

If Wilson hadn't got injured, I thought he might possibly get a England call-up if he had continued his fine form. Shame.

Jose Mourinho will not be facing any charges from the FA following comments he made to ex-Chelsea club doctor Eva Carneiro during the Swansea match last month.

Interesting press conference from Wenger here:

He threatened to stop the press conference after questions about team selection.

Manchester City back on top of the table :(

Newcastle are getting absolutely pulverised at the moment! and there could be more goals to come cause there's a lot of time left, records could be broken today.

It's clear which match will be shown first on Match Of The Day tonight.

On the flipside good week to captain Aguero in your Fantasy Team...

Or alternatively, you could have been like me, and taken him out this week.

On the flipside good week to captain Aguero in your Fantasy Team...

Up until this weekend I didn't have Aguero in my fantasy team but I knew that he was going to score today against Newcastle so I tried to put him in my team but I couldn't afford him so I put Lukaku there instead

I was debating it but with home games against Newcastle & Bournemouth he had to stay. I still have Giroud which needs to be changed quickly.

lol I've had Giroud in my team for the whole season and he has done f**k all for me so I took him out for Martial yesterday. I also had Callum Wilson in my team and he was always getting star ratings every week but now that he's injured I've got Lukaku in his place.
