September 19, 200618 yr It's a good film, but somewhat over-rated it has to be said. As one of my HK/Chinese friends put it - "Why are people in Britain getting so worked up by this..? I've grown up watching films like this..." And you have to admit, he does have a point. I dont reckon it's any better than a lot of the stuff the Shaw Brothers were doing ages ago, and I've seen the "Once Upon A Time In China" films as well, and I kinda rate them higher than this one..... I preferred "House of Flying Daggers" as well.....
