Conrad Sewell) - 33-23-32-22-18-4-2-3-5-11-12-… 10 Clean Bandit - Stronger - 5-9-15-19-13-17-20-20-23-25-… Two dance songs opening up the top 10 now, first up we have Clean Bandit with Stronger. The track is their biggest hit in my chart by a mile, being their only top 10 hit and looking to overtake the combined weeks of their other charting tracks, Rather Be and Extraordinary :o (they have a combined total of 13, Stronger was on 10 up to the cut-off point for this countdown). The song features uncredited vocals from Sean Bass and Alex Newell, although originally had Olly Alexander from Years & Years providing vocals in the album version. I love Y&Y but I must say, the single version is considerably better IMO. Just ahead at #9 we have the first appearance of three in the top 10 from Conrad Sewell, here featuring on Kygo's massive smash hit Firestone. The track got off to a slow start in my chart but eventually became a huge smash, and deservedly so too. It's the highest dance track in the countdown, and it may even end up higher than this come the end of the year, we'll see!
July 21, 20159 yr Oops don't like either of those :( Stronger is ok but absolutely pales in comparison to real love and rather be for me and I found it got old pretty quickly. I find Firestone so dull and boring and that it just goes nowhere, I also hate the vocals :kink:

Stronger still sounds amazing to me though :wub: And I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on Firestone :heehee: Sorry for the delay in this guys, been busy with holiday etc. New section coming up :D

The track, like with Firestone, got held off the top spot by Hold Me Up so was quite unlucky in that respect! The track remains gorgeous to me anyway with his vocals being stripped back and recorded in one take. Would be shocked if this didn't smash with a UK push later in the year. Pretty Girls was a track I anticipated for a while upon hearing about a Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea collaboration, and it didn't disappoint. It had all the best parts of a great Iggy track, and whilst it sounds a little out place for Britney, it's still a solid track.

Rita Ora) - 30-18-9-7-9-11-3-5-10-12-14-1-2-5-10-17-25-37-X 6 Ulrik Munther - Nån gång - 2-2-3-4-3-1-3-4-9-12-8-14-18-25-29-33-35-39-... A huge step up into the top 6 now, all are miles ahead of the rest! First up at #6 we have Ulrik Munther with the second single from his third album. It's his first album in Swedish rather than English, and my track record with foreign language songs isn't particularly high. Despite that, this song has become one of my favourites by him without a doubt. It's the second highest of my BJSC entries of 2015 in this countdown! Only just ahead is Charli XCX with Doing It, a track which took its time t peak in my chart, eventually making #1 after I saw her live in March. It had a very good top 20 run and despite a quick drop after that, I still very much enjoy the track and I feel Rita being on the track enhances it too.

Hold Back the River proved to be a sleeper hit in the UK chart but was always a big hit in my own chart. It had a huge resurgance when it took off officially though, climbing from #40 to #1 wthin three weeks! Its chart run looks very erratic but it's a brilliant track and one I've not tired of once. The top 3 is incredibly close for me right now (and dare I say it, it would probably be in a different order if I did it now :drama:), which means Luke Friend only just misses out on a top 2 spot. Hole in My Heart was his debut single and reached #40 in the UK chart. It was Luke's second #1 here following promo single Take On the World last year. I was incredibly hyped for this track and it didn't fail to live up to my expectations, brilliant song and hopefully the second single isn't far off! CONRAD SEWELL vs. IGGY AZALEA

August 4, 20159 yr Hold me up is utterly awful and so is hold back the river :kink: I quite like hole in my heart and even thought it got old for me quite quickly, it deserved to do way better than #40 (at least it didn't do a sirens :( ). Doing It and Pretty Girls are both fantastic collaborations and both just miss out on my top 10 of the year for both, I love them so much :wub:
