Eddie Brett is set to be the first of Loveable Rogues to launch solo material next month, following their split last year. His debut EP is up for pre-order on iTunes now - the video for its lead single 'The City Don't Like Us' will be on YouTube by the week's end:

I suspect, as was the case with the Loveable Rogues topics on here that I shall thus be the only one with a smidgen of interest in this but am excited nonetheless to hear what he'll be like solo :D

The samples sound kinda crap, his voice is pretty irritating. Shame.

EP's out today. Oh this is quality! It's a very different sound from what Loveable Rogues did but still has a bit of their sound about it.

 

It sounds at times, to me anyway, a bit Chris Rea or Dire Straits-y, quite bluesy in places. 'Darling' and 'Lady in Red' (not a cover bytheby) are the highlights.
