Lovely read. It's a shame she came with 8 days notice otherwise I could have cleared some time up :(. But at least if anyone got to meet her, you did. ^_^

Cheers Dan ^_^

I'm surprised she did Predictable & Dancing with a Broken Heart. Their like fan faves.

I thought fans were generally quite lukewarm about it. Sounded great live though.

Predictable is relatively well known in the UK somehow, I often hear it in shops and quite a few of my friends know it, despite not knowing how, so they must have heard it somewhere. Should have been a 5th single or a double a-side with Not Me, Not I in the UK.

I've only recently heard this and actually it's quite good. I'm not usually especially interested in Delta, but it's quite different to what I've heard from her before. It could easily be hit, given the right support.

I know this is late but I'm so thrilled you finally got to meet and see Delta perform Rich!!

Our Lord and Saviour has put a stunning acoustic version of Wings on her Youtube account:

LUSH

So the UK "impact date" is this week right?

I knew the likelihood of it doing anything was slim to none but I was vaguely hopeful we could get a chart scrape out of it. :(

It was so good

And so is this, natch.

Yeah the impact date should have been the week she was over here, but there's no point of having a fixed date anyway, if radio and TV refuse to play the song there's nothing at all she can do about it.

This made #10 on the Courier Mail's best 40 singles of 2015 list :cheer:

Nice wee write up too:

Dancefloor Delta! Wings found the sweet spot between Calvin Harris and Stevie Nicks, but those sky-high euphoric vocals and classical piano flourishes were pure Delta. Even commercial radio remembered she’s one of our most successful pop artists for good reason. This will either start or close Delta concerts for years to come, it’s that kind of tune.

Nice of News.com.au to remember her! The Murdoch empire controls the aussie media so this is a good showing! The Courier Mail has a near total monopoly over newspaper sales in Queensland so it's probably the most influential bit of print media in that state.

If anyone's still interested, these are Delta's two performances in London from October in full:

At 20:28 in the second video I was going CRAZY like I never have before at any gig.
