Flora is so irritating. She was like "where do I go?" when she took her and my mum said "to the bloody bin"

Thinking Sandy's a goner here, either her or Alvin which is a shame as I like both of them.

Nadiya's cake though, looked AMAZING. Tamal's was impressive aswell, he hardly ever seems to be featured but he's actually consistently very good.

Sandy </3

Nadiya's cake *.* omg amazing. Queen etc,

Bit of a poor round this week, Ian star baker 3 times on a trot :o got a funny feeling he will go all the way, but fall at the last hurdle, Nadiya did well, the 3 cheesecake thing with the suspended Pop can. Flora kept it simple with her showstopper, I didn't think it was that great, but she saved herself. And a few more dodgy showstoppers

I knew the last 2 would be Alvin and Sandy once you put all the 3 challenges together, but I think it was the right decision in the end.

Tamal was robbed! Ian bores me rigid, I find myself wishing him to pull a Dorret on every bake.
Ah, I'll miss Sandy's interviews, but she did a bit crap this week. It's disappointing that Ian's doing so well, as he's not very appealing.

Yeah Ian is really boring :( Very good baker of course but he's just not appealing to watch or entertaining at all. I know this IS about baking, but there are great bakers such as Nadiya who are also really likeable and entertaining, and I'd much rather have someone like that.

Plus never putting a foot out of line makes him kind of hard to root for? For example Nadiya has stumbled a few times but I like that, it shows she's flawed and is trying and learning from her mistakes. I just don't connect with anyone on a show like this so much if they just sail through without a blemish on their record. Anyway, as good as his bakes were I think it should have been Tamal or maybe Nadiya, although her technical let her down so I can kind of see why she didn't get SB.

I agree, she comes across as quite unlikable for me and while she's technically good, she's just not that exciting as a baker and leaves me a bit cold.

Poor Sandy :( I did love her one-liners. I thought Nadiya's showstoppoer would be too ambitious and she'd be in danger of going, but that levitating can :o Amaze. Glad she stayed anyway, need more of her facial expressions.

Maybe. But I'll still need time to get used to it.

Add me to the list of people who can't tell Ian and Mat apart. I said to hubby last night 'I reckon Mat's got this again' only for them to announce that Ian had star baker for the third week in a row! :drama: ...or vice-versa.

I can tell the difference; Mat is interesting, Ian is not.

Sad to see Sandy go, would rather have had Alvin go because he's been pretty shit for ages. The one thing I don't like about this is that you can have one bad week and be gone whereas someone else can have 3 or 4 not as bad weeks and live to tell the tale.

If you're consistantly struggling then you should go rather than someone who has been good but had a poor week once.*

*I think I'm still bitter that Marie went out in the second week!

Just caught up. SANDY GONE! Also yawn at Ian getting star baker AGAIN. Poor Tamal getting snubbed again.

When you think Tamal's got SB but then you hear it's Ian again
