This year so far has mainly been about building up my Mariah albums collection. I now have every studio album of hers, apart from Glitter - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be reissued later this year!

 

The shining jewel of my 2021 purchases is Emma Bunton's Free Me! It's so rare and expensive; I dreamt of owning it for years but I never thought that I ever would. A friend sold it to me earlier this year for a very reasonable price and I'm so grateful and happy about it! It still feels so surreal that I finally have it!

 

I bought Celine's Christmas album earlier this month - admittedly an odd time to purchase such an album, but it was going fairly cheap on Amazon, £14... which imo is great for a double vinyl. It's never been that low before, so I decided I should get it sooner rather than later!

 

The Steps picture disc was only £8, I couldn't resist. Honestly I'm not a big fan of picture discs, but it's a cute item!

A couple of months ago I won a Kylie job lot auction of 9 singles [for £18.50 inc. postage], which was a bit of an impulsive purchase. After that, I decided I would embark on collecting all of her PWL era singles. Considering how old the singles are, they're mostly in a nice condition. The only ones I need to get now are: Keep on Pumpin' It, Finer Feelings, What Kind Of Fool (Heard All That Before) and Celebration. I'll endeavour to get these eventually. Into the Blue wasn't particularly necessary considering I have the CD single, but I like that it's a normal vinyl. As far as I'm aware, pretty much all of her other Parlophone era vinyl are picture discs, and I don't feel like I need them.

Picked up a copy of the 25th anniversary reissue of Goldie's Timeless album. I haven't heard it before but I liked Inner City Life and was intrigued enough to want to hear the rest.

I went for the neon green one in the end though, preferred that to the 'spit' one 😅

 

Really need to get the Turntable Lab Punisher one but it’s a nightmare to find without it costing a fortune now :’)
