I think that definitely beats my most expensive one by quite some distance

I think in terms of a single record (in both senses) the most I have spent is £70 for an Italo disco 12”, Gitano by Fockewulf 190.

 

But I definitely have box sets that have cost around that much, like the ABBA - The Albums box (the original version on black vinyl).

I have had quite the splurge lately!

I got the Now Christmas vinyl in it modern rereleased version two years ago but they replaced the Gary Glitter track with Chris Rea, have the original on cassette though

I think the cloth bound edition of O is my most expensive at about £90 for a single album

 

Although yes I do have box sets that have been £100+

My most expensive purchases were the Drobs BOX (55 euros/£49.82) and the Foals Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost limited package (£50). Both are boxsets

I’ve been hit by £41 import charge as well now :lol: :nocheer:

I'm not surprised! Imports from the US are usually expensive for that reason - the handling charge is usually about £15 on its own :(

 

I ordered my first ever vinyl from overseas just this evening, so am now anticipating a further charge! :lol:

I ordered my copy from a member on Popjustice - he bulk buys copies of releases from UO, exclusively for Popjustice members! That saves quite a bit of money. It cost £42 [item: £35, postage: £7] - I'd say that's probably about £30 less than it would cost ordering it from UO directly (taking into account their postage charge, and the probable customs charge that would occur on top of that).

 

I do wish the UO exclusives were sold in European stores too, that would make life easier for everyone :( I hope you'll be able to get a copy of it eventually!

They've pushed the vinyl release back to Oct 30 so you can wait until next pay day! I couldn't decide between the tri colour version or the blue mist but it seemed a bit excessive to pay an extra tenner for just one more colour lol - plus the blue mist looks way prettier :wub:
