September 21, 200618 yr Author I had a feeling I had gone to brilliant 19's page and found darius' name under ambush..must have been dreaming.. he was in a list with Tylor james, amy winehouse ..I dont know how else I would have come up with that name :huh: :wacko: :blink:
September 21, 200618 yr On 19's website *Darius comes under Associated Companies in the Brilliant 19 section - Ambush & Native are the two other associated companies with links along the top of the page, so maybe that's what you saw? *I wish they would update it though.

September 22, 200618 yr People have certainly mentioned Ambush before in relation to Darius. Maybe because it's connected to songwriting, they've just assumed he'd have signed on with them because they're connected to 19 and it would be easy to do. Personally I think Darius would make his choice from a full range after investigating and considering his options. He must have had some kind of a link to a similar company before he ever signed up to 19. In that interview before Live and Loud 2001, he said he couldn't sing any of his songs right then because the LAWYERS and COPYRIGHTERS were still doing their thing. It could have been a contract/deal for individual songs or a time related one. To me Ambush looks like a company with songwriters who will write songs to a brief. Darius would have all the skills to do it but I can't ever see him doing anything other than writing as he does : songs based on personal experiences and/or channelling his emotions.
