October 10, 20159 yr Author I see where you're coming from, there's definitely an argument for Old Ways, Kingdom Come and Waitin For You to be considered very similar with all 3 featuring some sort of subtle mini-breakdown, and to a lesser extent Stars can be grouped in this bracket too. Then again, this album is feeling very cohesive and I don't think the similarities between those three bother me. I think I'm going to love this album as much as Demi, I can't wait to hear the tracks in full. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Kingdom Come and Stone Cold as the next couple of singles!
October 12, 20159 yr For You sounds incredible. The rest sounds crap and tuneless but Demi never has good albums (only Unbroken was three quarters decent) so no surprise there. She's a singles artiste.

October 15, 20159 yr Well this is pretty much out now... Lionheart is rather pleasant and Father is sweet, very emotional towards the end. Kingdom Come is nice enough I suppose! For You has potential to grow into one of the better ones... Whether that's saying much I don't know!
October 16, 20159 yr Waiting For You and Kingdom Come are my favourites so far, I also enjoyed For You and Old Ways. I still only partway through the album :P
October 16, 20159 yr 09 Confident 11 Cool For The Summer 08 Old Ways 10 For You (stellar pop song, as close as this album comes to topping Cool For The Summer) 10 Stone Cold (stunning ballad, I still prefer her live in the studio even more, where her voice sounds quite soulful like on the Take Me To Church live lounge she did) 07.5 Kingdom Come (Iggy's rap bit doesn't even sound like her for half of it, it's weird  It's a bit offputting, Demi alone would probably see this song have a higher score but I really like it as a whole) 07 Waitin' For You 08.5 Lionheart 06.5 Yes 09.5 Father (it's not quite For The Love Of A Daugher or Shouldn't Come Back so I can't give it a 10 but I did tear up a bit ) 07 Stars 08 Mr Hughes Her weakest album for me, on one listen :( Solid enough throughout but it really lacks the countless highs I could pick out on her other albums, however it's just her ridiculously high standard set by the last album I expect
October 16, 20159 yr Author I really liked the album in full on first listen although it did seem similar in places, but it's just growing and growing and definitely up there with the amazing Demi and Unbroken! My favourite non-singles would have to be Lionheart, Father, For You and maybe Wildfire. She really shines on the ballads and mid-tempos on this album, whereas I felt the opposite on her last album. There's not a single song I'd skip though! The "whistle notes" or whatever they are called that happen in the final chorus of Wildfire are insane! :o
October 16, 20159 yr Gave this a listen today  Pretty good album but preferred Demi! 10 Confident 11 Cool For The Summer 06.5 Old Ways 10 For You (Utterly fantastic pop moment) 06.5 Stone Cold 08.5 Kingdom Come (Adored This) 06 Waitin' For You 03 Wildfire (So bad!) 10 Lionheart (Beautiful and stunning, favourite non single  ) 07.5 Yes 08 Father 07.5 Stars 08 Mr Hughes
October 16, 20159 yr I need to give it a second listen before I rank the whole thing but Kingdom Come would be my 11, such a great track even if it is Black Widow part 2.
October 18, 20159 yr Have finally listened to this and I actually think 'Cool For the Summer' and 'Confident' (despite both being really good songs) are two of the weakest on the album. After those two, it feels like the rest of the album is a story of its own. Really, really beautiful album. 07.0 Confident 07.5 Cool For the Summer 08.5 Old Ways 09.0 For You 10.0 Stone Cold 06.5 Kingdom Come (feat. Iggy Azalea) 07.5 Waitin' For You (feat. Sirah) 09.0 Wildfire 10.0 Lionheart 09.5 Yes 11.0 Father 08.0 Stars 08.5 Mr. Hughes
October 18, 20159 yr I just watched Demi on Saturday Night Live, she performed Cool For the Summer/Confident medley and Stone Cold.
October 18, 20159 yr "Kingdom Come" is EPIC BEYOND PROPORTIONS. HOLY SH*T AT THAT DROP. THANK THE LORD SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS WHERE IT'S AT
