The winner of the first series (yes, it was created in a world where throwing a baked Alaska in the bin wasn't headline news), Edd Kimber is the first to leave. Since his Bake Off appearance, he has worked in Raymond Blanc's restaurant, written 3 cookbooks and has appeared as a resident baker on The Alan Titchmarsh Show. He has also taught macaroon making classes in London and run a pop-up bakery.
