February 22, 20169 yr Karl should be the last one as he's leaked it on his website, unless it is just very elaborate trolling. There's a Swedish producer involved if true! Dare to dream (for about 5 more minutes)
February 22, 20169 yr How tragic that it's come to a point where we have to pick out of generic MOR album tracks/rejects. Is it really this hard? Song 1 // Joe and Jake - You're Not Alone Song 3 // Dulcima - When You Go Song 2 // Bianca - Shine A Little Light Song 5 // Darline - Until Tomorrow Song 4 // Matthew James - A Better Man Only 'You're Not Alone' is decent so far and I wouldn't be completely embarrassed if we sent Dulcima and Bianca but the other two are SO bland, especially 'A Better Man' which I struggled to listen to even a minute of.
February 22, 20169 yr Author Quite good but it felt like it was going for the anthemic vibe but not quite managing it, but it's decent. Full rankings: 1. Joe and Jake - You're Not Alone - 9.5/10 2. Bianca - Shine A Little Light - 7.5/10 3. Karl - Miracle - 7.5/10 4. Darline - Until Tomorrow - 7/10 5. Dulcima - When You Go - 4/10 6. Matthew James - A Better Man - 2/10
February 22, 20169 yr Joe and Jake please, though I wish they had a better act name. Miracle promises a lot but fails to deliver in a rather limp chorus, I quite like Bianca and Darline's songs, the other two would be down there with Electro Velvet.
February 22, 20169 yr Well before this I would have said that I can't wait to hear what we have to offer, but after reading the last few pages my enthusiasm has took a dive. :nocheer: Edited February 22, 20169 yr by Oliver
February 22, 20169 yr Song 1 // Joe and Jake - You're Not Alone 7/10 Song 2 // Bianca - Shine A Little Light 5.5/10 Song 3 // Dulcima - When You Go 2.5/10 Song 4 // Matthew James - A Better Man 4/10 Song 5 // Darline - Until Tomorrow 5/10 Song 6 // Karl William Lund - Miracle 5.5/10

February 22, 20169 yr But yeah, it'll be a year of fading into the background rather than being completely embarrassed, seems we go for one option or the other. One year we'll want to stand out in a good way.
February 22, 20169 yr Author I know there's only six songs but if that is the running order I can see Miracle winning, hopefully they will switch it round!
February 22, 20169 yr Well before this I would have said that I can't wait to hear what we have to offer, but after reading the last few pages my enthusiasm has took a dive. :nocheer: looool same intrigued to hear this jake n joe track tho
February 22, 20169 yr Author Opening odds from William Hill: 2/1 Karl William Lund 9/4 Bianca 4/1 Darline 5/1 Joe & Jake 8/1 Dulcima 10/1 Matthew James Poor Joe and Jake! :(
February 22, 20169 yr Author All songs are here if you desire to listen to them again (but I'd just listen to Joe and Jake if I were you): http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0070hvg/clips
February 22, 20169 yr The song might be subpar but I'm growing quite fond of Karl. I'm also pretty sure I've spoken to him on Grindr before. Either way, he took part in the Red Hot photoshoot thing. http://snusercontent.global.ssl.fastly.net/member-profile-full/54/2146154_5560965.jpg It's a yes from me.
February 22, 20169 yr That sucks...! Karl's song could be good with a revamp (plus a ginger representing the UK *.*) but the BBC hardly ever revamp songs, and there are better songs on offer in this NF. But Miracle does sound like a safe bet to win this NF. Fingers crossed for Joe and Jake and Darline though, Scooch and Daz weren't exactly fancied in the odds, but of course had the novelty factor on their sides.
February 22, 20169 yr definitely should be between joe & jake and bianca. Nothing groundbreaking though.
