John won the show with his Italian Sausage and Roasted Vegetable Pithivier, fondant fancies and Heaven and Hell Chiffon Cake. Throughout the series, he only won 'Star Baker' once in the series. He has since set up a chocolate shop as well as releasing two cookbooks. He is also a resident chef on Lorraine as well as making appearances on other daytime TV shows. He also has a column on food for The Daily Telegraph and has opened a cookery school this year.
