The top 5 stays completely the same, which means Calvin ties GF Taylor for most consecutive weeks at #1 this year. The Weeknd, One Direction, and Demi Lovato hold their positions from last time, the latter mainly affected by the Teen Wolf summer finale. The lone top 5 entry is Shawn Mendes, who has had a gradual rise to the top since May - "Stitches" rises up two spots to #5. Two new songs enter the top 10: BJSC success finally hits Five Knives as they jump up another 7 spots to #8 with "Savages", and while it's not a runaway #1 yet, Carly Rae Jepsen moves up two steps closer with "Run Away With Me" at #9. Only one song enters the top 20 this week: Zedd makes another triumphant return to the top 20 with promo single (and supposed third single) "Papercut", up 6 spots to #20. Two new songs enter the top 30 this week. Pitch Perfect star Hailee Steinfeld had a promising start with her lead single doing so well, and this week "Love Myself" inches up 9 spots to #28. Also making a nice rise is Galantis with their latest single, "Peanut Butter Jelly", up 3 spots to #29.

Four songs enter the top 40, including two debuts and our greatest gainer. Let's begin with the latter: while Diplo may be headed for his first #1 in the U.S., it doesn't stop him from charting with another: side project Major Lazer, along with vocalists Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley score the Greatest Gainer with "Powerful", up 14 spots to #33. Two songs debut in the top 40 as well: The Weeknd's latest album is scoring big for him, and this next single is no exception: he gets the highest debut with "The Hills" at #36. Fifth Harmony also score a soundtrack song debut with "I'm In Love With A Monster" at #39, which perfectly explains my feelings for Cody Christian's character on Teen Wolf. Go figure. In between the two debuts is another song that does just that to me: Cash Cash rises another 11 spots to #37 with their latest song, "Devil". Along with The Weeknd and Fifth Harmony, another song debuts: Jess Glynne may have lost the #1 to Rachel Platten, but she gets a charter here as "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" becomes her fifth charter.

Major Lazer scored the Greatest Gainer at #33, and you won't have to look too far to find the biggest dropper: Sage The Gemini and Nick Jonas drop 14 spots to #35 as our biggest dropper, making way for Nick's newest single probably. In its 33rd week, "Talking Body" drops 4 spots to #47.

hope the Hills gets a real push over here, glad to see it got a new peak in the UK but I want it to be a top 10 or 20 hit , for me it's so much stronger and edgier than CFMF so it's a shame because that's stealing the spotlight :(

 

Loev Jess Glynne's latest track, never heard a track so joyous and uplifting, (take notes Rachel Platten), I'm in love with her voice when she belts it in the middle 8 and final chorus, so beautiful!

The top 5 stays completely the same, which means Calvin ties GF Taylor for most consecutive weeks at #1 this year. The Weeknd, One Direction, and Demi Lovato hold their positions from last time, the latter mainly affected by the Teen Wolf summer finale. The lone top 5 entry is Shawn Mendes, who has had a gradual rise to the top since May - "Stitches" rises up two spots to #5. Two new songs enter the top 10: BJSC success finally hits Five Knives as they jump up another 7 spots to #8 with "Savages", and while it's not a runaway #1 yet, Carly Rae Jepsen moves up two steps closer with "Run Away With Me" at #9. Only one song enters the top 20 this week: Zedd makes another triumphant return to the top 20 with promo single (and supposed third single) "Papercut", up 6 spots to #20. Two new songs enter the top 30 this week. Pitch Perfect star Hailee Steinfeld had a promising start with her lead single doing so well, and this week "Love Myself" inches up 9 spots to #28. Also making a nice rise is Galantis with their latest single, "Peanut Butter Jelly", up 3 spots to #29.

 

Four songs enter the top 40, including two debuts and our greatest gainer. Let's begin with the latter: while Diplo may be headed for his first #1 in the U.S., it doesn't stop him from charting with another: side project Major Lazer, along with vocalists Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley score the Greatest Gainer with "Powerful", up 14 spots to #33. Two songs debut in the top 40 as well: The Weeknd's latest album is scoring big for him, and this next single is no exception: he gets the highest debut with "The Hills" at #36. Fifth Harmony also score a soundtrack song debut with "I'm In Love With A Monster" at #39, which perfectly explains my feelings for Cody Christian's character on Teen Wolf. Go figure. In between the two debuts is another song that does just that to me: Cash Cash rises another 11 spots to #37 with their latest song, "Devil". Along with The Weeknd and Fifth Harmony, another song debuts: Jess Glynne may have lost the #1 to Rachel Platten, but she gets a charter here as "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" becomes her fifth charter.

 

Major Lazer scored the Greatest Gainer at #33, and you won't have to look too far to find the biggest dropper: Sage The Gemini and Nick Jonas drop 14 spots to #35 as our biggest dropper, making way for Nick's newest single probably. In its 33rd week, "Talking Body" drops 4 spots to #47.
