Nancy Birtwhistle won the last series but she's already your favourite winner! Her win was seen by over 13m people last year as they saw her Red Windmill take the prize.

Joanne Wheatley won the final with her Raspberry and Blueberry Mille Feuille and her Mini Victoria Sandwiches, Raspberry, White Chocolate and Pistachio Mini Meringues and Mini Banoffee Pie with Banana Mousse. Since winning, she has released two baking cookbooks as well as writing coloumns for Sainsbury's magazine and The Sun. She has also made numerous daytime TV appearances as cook as well as running cookery courses.
