Natalie was pretty dreadful tonight. I'd have gotten rid of her over Aisha but then Aisha would have gotten off lucky too as she made so many mistakes. I didn't like the guys' pitch as that's my worst nightmare for a presentation, maybe they really had nothing else to pull them down on, because it was very clear the guys were going to win, they worked pretty well together, in comparison to the girls, there are a couple in there who clearly HATE all of the others and that won't do well for them.

I was laughing so much at Natalie's speech, I was expecting her to start going 'Exterminate!' or 'Obey' it was that robotic! Not that the boys were any better at that. Ouch.

Right person went though, clearly overly domineering and had no idea what she was doing, totally shit product as well, the guys' one wasn't great but it was ridiculous how much better it was than the girls.

I was literally LOLing when she said "the green bottle was chosen because the cactus is green" in the pitch  great choice of quote for your sig lewis ;)

Aisha was perhaps the right person to go. The campaign was a but too unclear and she was too forceful in her leadership. They all must hate Charlene though, just the looks she was given throughout despite it being her industry. It seemed slightly Mean Girls ish when Aisha was boasting in the boardroom how she got PM over her.

I don't really agree that the Boy's team produced one of the best campaigns though, it was all very generic with the all-black theme/filters.

Generic, but the branding was spot on. The design was fantastic. Lots of work needed to be done, but they understood target audience, marketing & branding. I could see why Lord Sugar was so impressed.

:kink: I can't believe they're doing the Items task so early in the season! We're so spoiled!

As that guy said at the end, their first mistake was not allowing Charlene to be PM. It wasn't simply a marketing task, they needed to understand the target market and sell the product. Charlene was the best person for that.

I wasn't that impressed by the boys' product but it was far better than the girls. It was obvious throughout the episode that they were going to win the task.

I have been watching this but haven't read this thread until now because i've been late with it all..

The episodes where they travel abroad are always the best and this one isn't disappointing so far  The guys are being so stupidly adorable, i'm really warming to a lot of them. The girls have this in the bag surely unless this edit is all a big red-herring...

Edit: oops could be falling apart for the girls now too :')

Hmm, after the whole skeleton-gate of last year, I'm unsure how I feel about them happily accepting the toy inflatable boat. I'm not sure about what the requirements stated though so I may be talking manure rubbish~

I didn't really notice what the fired person did before and she seems extremely full of herself so not really bothered about that firing. What a mess from the girls though

The girls are absolutely atrocious. So much bickering, not really sure if any of them are that strong candidates.

So so obvious that Vana should have been fired. However I reckon she will have kept in as you can see massive conflict happening between her and that blonde girl.

Seriously Sugar, stop firing candidates I think are going to be potentially good to watch later on! I don't think I've agreed with a single one of his firings this series. Elle was far demonstrably worse, Vana ended up being a disorganised mess, and I prefer giving people a chance to royally screw it up via being PM or having a significant bit of power, not just because they missed one thing (that was actually the least valuable of the three items the girls overspent/missed). Firing for hiding should be something that seems to happen repeatedly, rather than (from what we see) one instance of it and you're out, because there's very little of getting to know the candidates. So I'd have definitely fired Vana or Elle and let Jenny get her chance in the spotlight the next week.

Very entertaining task though, abroad and items task combined made for some excellent instances of screwing up.

I thought Jenny seemed OK (if a bit first week fodder), until that ridiculously pretentious speech when she was fired. Yeah, good luck with that, love. Not that Vana was much better, I know it always seems this way in the first week but the girls are really awful this year. So far literally none of them have been a competent project managers, wayyy to forceful in their leadership and holding grudges, just really awful.

I was thinking that too, I thought he may not accept, couldn't help but think they didn't want more backlash again, but like you said, it may not have been that important.

Amazed at manure being deemed as an item to collect, they've never had them stoop that low

God that was a nightmare. The girls should have won if they got their shit together and stopped bickering. They were by far the better negotiators, Vana really let them down by shuffling all the items around and Elle was just as culpable by being a poor sub team leader and buying that stupid boat.

Jenny however pretty much admitted that she's been useless up until this point and shot herself in the foot. All three of them should have been fired, but by the looks of it Vana and Elle have more potential. They'll be swept under the rug for the next 6 weeks and the show will focus on bigger f*** ups.

No one? Didn't even watch it live and I'm the first one here.

I was convinced we were getting a double. Selena was looking more useless than Ruth although I was fully expecting her to go after a task like that. Scott actually really grew on me by the end, I hadn't noticed him before now but he has an unusually high level of emotional intelligence to be on this show, which means I like him. Unlucky to be the losing PM and looked good all the way through the boardroom.

Brilliant winning PM too, he's very adorable to watch. Looking to be a leading candidate too, as much as there is one at this stage (or maybe I'm just thinking that because I don't want to see him in the boardroom, it was hard enough with Ruth this week).

Selena

has apparently broken there contract with the show and will not be appearing on You're Fired when they leave the process.

Poor Ruth. :(

She wasn't really the right person for the show (as in to actually do well, she was right for entertainment purposes) because she seems a genuinely really nice person.

I really like Scott so I'm happy that he stayed! Selina looks like an extreme bitch though, going both off the show and her Twitter. I wish Lord Sugar had listened to Claude and Karen although I'm she'll be great for entertainment. Fully expecting her to be the one to appear in Celebrity Big Brother next year. Apparently her and Charlene had a physical fight off camera after last week's task!

First time I realised Sam was even part of the process when he was selling the fleeces from the dog beds! No doubt he will remain invisible until the interviews where suddenly he has a perfect business plan and goes through to the final. :)

I think that's the first time I've disagreed with Sugar's firing this series - I saw the reasons for it, but at the same time I feel she was definitely unique and kinda hilarious to watch. I feel she had more to give, as cliched as it sounds. :(

I would've definitely fired Selena, though seeing that twitter thing I s'pose she'll stay a few more weeks for entertainment purposes, she's a right sour faced cow and clearly quite a nasty person too, ineffective as a businesswoman given the fact she's done nothing but bitch these past few weeks. Scott was so lovely bless him! S'pose that's him out very soon then -_-

Get the impression from Sam, that his business plan is really good. Plus looks like he is PM next week.

Got to admit I felt a bit sorry for Ruth, as she seemed lovely. Problem was though I just don't think she's as cuthroat as Lord Sugar wants his candidates to be. I'm not saying she needs to be Selina style, but when your main skill is sales and you don't sell ... that rings alarm bells!

It's week 4 and we are yet to see someone (*cough*SAM*cough*) without a shirt on. Disappointing.

Sam is the PM next week so no.

Poor Ruth </3 :(
