November 17, 20159 yr 'Dark Horse' is way too high. 'Firework' and 'Roar' are excellent songs completely ruined by overplay, I just can't enjoy them any more. 'Teenage Dream' is the best for me, but 'E.T.' seems to appeal to a lot of people who don't generally like her so I can't argue with its victory. 'Hot N Cold' has probably my favourite music video of the last decade.
November 18, 20159 yr I gave 10 to both 'E.T.' and 'Teenage Dream' but actually I prefer the latter by quite a margin. It was neck and neck with 'Wide Awake' for my 11 and somehow would have felt more fitting as the winner here as it really encapsulates Katy's appeal more than any of her other smashes. November 21, 20159 yr Great #1 (and very solid top 3). I don't get why people don't like the Kanye West version. I prefer it much to the original. Scratch THAT I only just realized, after making a Katy playlist, that the official version with Kanye doesn't have the best part of the entire song and Katy's entire career (the middle 8).
