November 4, 20159 yr I hope they perform on both shows, X Factor viewers would more likely download a song but Strictly would be less likely. I think with the flood they performed on both shows plus they performed it twice on X Factor.
November 4, 20159 yr Strictly is a funny conundrum for musicians. You find that there's not much impact on where songs are on itunes despite it pulling in 10m viewers a week. XF always guarantees a boost. The video is ok, better than the last couple... but would have been better if they had been involved in the dance off Edited November 4, 20159 yr by jay727
November 4, 20159 yr Strictly appears to boost album sales only. X Factor boosts the single and the album (most of the time).
November 5, 20159 yr No word as yet- would be surprised if they did. That said it's all been quiet on the CIN front and little promo given that it's at the end of this month.
November 6, 20159 yr At this rate anything would be! Would love them to do what Gary did with the Meerkats on Coronation St
November 6, 20159 yr Haha I don't like it either, but 10 million people watch it! Great promo opportunity
November 9, 20159 yr Soaps do not cross 8 million viewers anymore and they all average 6-7 million unless they go out as live specials.
November 11, 20159 yr They appear reasonably even in ratings when recordings etc are counted in. I would also suspect fans of Coronation Street are older and may not buy music as much as fans of Hollyoaks for example would.
