It seems that Darius is singing another duet in the second act - Who are you now? I think it was mentioned in an article about Sheridan in the Independent.

They've changed it to one of those duets revealing each other's thoughts like Alone in GWTW or Maybe in FHTE.

If they haven't cut either of Nick's Broadway songs, I make it four songs - I want to be seen with you tonight, You are woman, I am man, the song left out of Broadway and Who are you now.

So that's not too bad.

This is such a special show. I can't put into words how good it is. The only way is for you to go and see it. The cast were all great but Darius and Sheridan were beyond words. It's great to be reminded what a fantastic range and tone Darius has and Sheridan was just as good. They must be exhausted with the power and feeling put into their roles. I can't remember seeing anything better

You little teaser, you. That's far too thin a gruel to last us through to April.

So, I'll start with an easy one.

What is the missing song and where does it fit into the story?

I don't know- I'll just have to go and see it again. My favourite was the duet that Darius and Sheridan sang together when everything was going wrong. Beautiful if sad, I haven't heard that one before nor the solo song near the beginning. I just don't know what they were called - I should have got a programme. He's normally the best thing in shows but this was his very best and Sheridan Smith was equally good. I'd like to go again soon but even if tickets become available I probably wouldn't be so lucky again

In the Chocolate Factory, everyone is near the stage. Do you get the idea that I really liked it? It felt very short but actually was 2hr 45mins but every bit was good so it flew by. I'll try again if they say they have returned tickets but I'd only buy for myself as you don't get time to find who could come - it's a case of get them NOW or never.

Just adding Darius' dancing was good but hne wasn't in production numbers - may have something to do with him being so much taller than everyone else. Last addition. All the cast were great too.

Thank you.

I think the duet you loved was probably 'Who are you now?', which was a solo for Fanny on Broadway and dropped for the film.

I really couldn't figure how it would work as a duet but I'm really glad it does.

If the solo song came before People and was fairly upbeat, even jaunty, I'd guess 'I want to be seen with you tonight.'

I can't think of any production dance scenario where Nick would be expected to be involved, apart from maybe 'Henry Street' or 'Sadie.' I'm surprised he dances at all, other than a very short waltz at Fanny's mother's saloon.

There was a nice photo of Sheridan in costume during 'Don't rain on my parade' in a newspaper article - Telegraph?

Another easy one - What does Darius wear when he first appears? The ruffled shirt is obvious .....tails, frock coat, tuxedo?

Black suit is all that comes to mind. I was listening to him rather than looking - not that that's an excuse. He looked very smart and very well dressed - probably tails. I just hope I get to see it again before it transfers

Thanks Maria. When, inone scene hbe loses his temper, people's mouths fell open and they jumped. The beauty of a small theatre

I can just imagine.

I think I've found out what the missing song is ....it's the lullaby but that's not its title, which is what I've been searching.

It's called 'Sleep Now, Baby Bunting'.

I haven't found any audio of it.......yet.

Even if Darius is emotionally drained at the end of each night's performance, it must be a great relief to be in a big production whose previews are just for tweaking, polishing and tightening, rather than the daily grinding graft of constant changes well into the run, while performing 8 shows a week and expected to do promotion too, as in GWTW and FHTE.
