October 22, 20159 yr Greg James has just announced on Radio 1 that the single and video will be released tomorrow. Edit: Just read that similar info has been posted. My bad... Edited October 22, 20159 yr by brefardan
October 22, 20159 yr Can guarantee she's the 'special guest' on Radio 1 tomorrow morning that they have been frothing over all week on Grimmy's show... But hey, I'm happy to hear something new from this lady.
October 22, 20159 yr Hmmm, with these 'it's been a while' lyrics and the title called a casual 'Hello' as the title, I'd say Adele is trying to get a message to us  Very intrigued to hear this, will be very disappointed though if it's just a Someone Like You clone.
October 22, 20159 yr I can't wait to see how this (and the album) does. I get the feeling for an act like Adele I can vaguely know what to expect, but still interested anyway.
October 22, 20159 yr I thought it was being released next week Friday ? or maybe she's releasing another song next week as well. I'm excicted to hear it though. Edited October 22, 20159 yr by troylovesmusic
October 22, 20159 yr OMFG cover please Adele. (I am not that excited for this, I just pray that it's interesting because it'll be dominating either way)
October 22, 20159 yr "Hello from the other side I must have called a thousand times To tell you I'm sorry, for everything that I've done But when I call you never seem to be home" Apparently those are the lyrics from the chorus. Not sure how truthful this is.
October 22, 20159 yr Godele is coming, the charts are not ready This!!! All Screech faves will run for the radios to try and copy her melodious notes with forced throat scratching screeching!! Omg Hello is it me you lookin for cover??!! Shame album is 25 and not ... though :/ She's not confident enough to Beyonce it though ~oop which by the laws of pop diva battles makes Bey the most powerful complex bitch. October 22, 20159 yr To be fair, I think it's better for Adele not to Beyoncé it. I mean, I'm sure she will have astronomical sales no matter what but I would quite like to see her get as high as possible and even break some records, and seeing as her fanbase is so wide with regards to age range, I think a held back release with matching the digital and physical release date is the best option for her.
October 22, 20159 yr "Hello," the lead single from the new album—a snippet of which appeared in a TV spot that aired Sunday night during The X Factor in the U.K.—will be available to buy and stream drops tomorrow (10/23) at 2:30am EDT (7:30am U.K. time). The cinematic video for "Hello," filmed in the countryside surrounding Montreal and directed by the celebrated young Canadian filmmaker Xavier Dolan (Mommy, Tom at the Farm), will also debut tomorrow. http://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=298175

October 22, 20159 yr I want this track to be something special and not underwhelming given how long we've had to wait but I've got everything crossed its going to be amazing! Cannot wait for tomorrow morning now :cheer:
October 23, 20159 yr Parts of the video are leaking on Twitter! I wasn't expecting those vocals after the very subdued snippet we got via the TV advert! :o EDIT: There's at least 6 or 7 snippets all over Twitter now, just search Adele and you'll find them all!
October 23, 20159 yr Yeah the choice of director is amazing, I'm looking forward to the video a lot more than I probably should given it's Adele. Such an inspired decision for the person who just gave up making music videos for her last album after... the lead single.

Such an inspired decision for the person who just gave up making music videos for her last album after... the lead single. She wasn't exactly in the best place to make videos though given all the problems with her voice and various surgeries though to be fair. I'm SO ready for this music video though!
