Posted October 27, 20159 yr So Tonight Alive have finished writing and recording their next album! They haven't announced a release date or title for it yet, but today they dropped this video so something is coming October 30th! :o I'm guessing It's a song from their next album, or maybe it is details about the album? It looks very halloweeny, and that symbol could be the album art, so I'm excited regardless of what it is :D aFZQBO7R0FI Edited October 29, 20159 yr by Goblindsey
October 28, 20159 yr I shall definitely be looking forward to this. Bring on another 'The Edge' please. Or something completely different but still amazing, I don't mind either way.
October 29, 20159 yr Author Since it's the 30th in Australia (where TA are from ;)), we now have the first song from their next album! It's called Human Interaction ^_^ I never thought I'd say this about a Tonight Alive song but I'm kinda disappointed, it's nice but I guess I was expecting something bigger  3j7PBy7WiIY Their next album is called Limitless and is set for release on the 4th of March 2016  Also tour dates, they're hitting us with so much :o (gutted I can't go to the Glasgow date though, I've been wanting to see them live again since I saw them in 2014 ) Edited October 29, 20159 yr by Goblindsey
November 3, 20159 yr I'm enjoying Human Interaction, it feels a lot more like towards their identity and away from Paramore's, which is always a good thing where they're concerned. Nice to see a bit of progression as well.
November 20, 20159 yr Author The opening track 'To Be Free' is now available to download on iTunes or should automatically download if you've pre-ordered it ^_^ Like Human Interaction I wasn't sure at first because it is a lot poppier/electronicy than I'd expect from Tonight Alive, I am liking it more with each listen though  (preview/purchase it here https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/to-be-fre...1?i=1049643233)
December 11, 20159 yr Author Another new song! 'Drive' Love the vibe of it, definitely another grower  The audio isn't on YouTube yet but I imagine it will be since there other two are, there is however a live acoustic :cheer: Ac7WAa_7Sck Edited December 12, 20159 yr by SantasLindsleigh
January 13, 20169 yr Yes please, make me want to listen to the albums more, why don't you? I like very much, it's nice to hear more stuff from them.
January 14, 20169 yr Author Yes Iz! You really need to listen to their other two albums, especially The Other Side  How Does It Feel has definitely made me even more hyped for Limitless though, if that's possible :kink:
February 27, 20169 yr Author Less than a week to go! Tonight Alive are posting little animation clips with the previews of each song, I think it's one everyday, counting down to the release date :cheer: #1 To Be Free #2 Oxygen #3 Human Interaction #4 Drive #5 How Does It Feel? #6 Waves #7 Everywhere I will add the other previews as they are posted so watch this space ;) Obviously we've heard the entirely of 4/6 of those songs, however the previews do sound a little different - I can't quite put my finger on why that it is though. Whakaio (Lead Guitar) said that Oxygen was his favourite track from the album on Twitter so I'm looking forward to hearing all of that. I really love how they're marketing this album, the way they've changed their aesthetic to mark a new era, their sound evolving etc and I'm in love with the little animations for these clips, its such a clever thing to do and gives the songs a bit more to them, they're so simple but amazing to me. March 4, 20169 yr Author So this is out :kink: Listening to it right now and on first listen it seems pretty good! Totally not what I was expecting as it's not really their usual sound but I'm not complaining as it's still great, It's gonna take me a few listens to properly get into it, the only song I didn't think much of was Oxygen but who knows, it could be a massive grower ^_^ I do wish there were more rockier songs like How Does It Feel? on there but what they lack in that area they make up with their lyrics and the emotion you can hear throughout. Oxygen 6/10 Waves 8/10 (probably one of the best choruses from the album) Everywhere 10/10 (I cried a lot, the lyrics immediately hit me personally) Power of One 9/10 I Defy 8/10 We Are 10/10 (Jenna's vocals are stunning on this track) The Greatest 10/10 (acoustic guitars kill me *.*) This is a very emotional album to say the least, I had goosebumps all the way through  Honestly can't wait to get this synced up to my iPod so I can just loop it and really get into it  There's such a contrast between this and 'The Other Side', its just as emotional if not more so but it's very chill and has a bit of a 90s/early 2000s vibe to it, it just makes you feel really good tbh  Guess I should do a quick scoring of the other tracks, How Does It Feel? Is still my favourite from the whole album atm  To Be Free 8/10 Human Interaction 9/10 Drive 8/10 How Does It Feel? 11/10 Edited March 4, 20169 yr by ℒ𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓼𝒆𝔂
March 6, 20169 yr Lovely album. I've gotten a few extra Tonight Alive tracks that I love added to my repetoire, To Be Free, Everywhere and I Defy are all fantastic. It feels a lot softer than they have been in the past (How Does It Feel aside) which is no bad thing on the more ballady tracks, and my favourite is Human Interaction still but on the more upbeat songs like Drive I feel that makes it suffer a little, that in particular I've been enjoying over the past weeks but I've been also feeling it could use an extra kick to it. But that aside, enjoyable pop-rock and definitely one that has them getting their own identity a bit.
