CELINE IS PLAYED MANY TIMES IN OUR HOUSE,usually at happy and romantic times

In wotever mood I'm in her music is always right for it.

I don't want to be seen as being critical of Celine in her own forum. I like her but...

 

I don't really have any emotional connection to her music. Possibly because she doesn't write that many of her songs. If I'm in a bad mood it wouldn't affect me really.

 

If I'm sad I want something relaxing to calm me down ('Come Away With Me' album), something touching ('Angel' by Sarah McLachlan, some Mariah songs, 'Hope There's Someone' by Antony & The Johnsons ) for comfort and some brazen pop to distract me and cheer me up ('The Show' by Girls Aloud).

 

I listen to Celine when I'm in a good mood and I want to enjoy the quality of her voice, the big ballads, the more fun pop songs or also listen to an album that's good from top to bottom.

i prefer celine singing pop songs no balads.........

yes its good to tell what you really think of artists and there songs etc,tim i have no hassle with what you said as you said it in a nice un offensive way and sometimes its nice to hear opinions of pople who arent majot fans

I agree. I think many people like Celine's music but aren't die hard fans. And that's fine as well. She has such a huge fan base and beyond that many people that just enjoy her music.
