First to go is the penultimate track 'Push'. As previously established, it is not at all a bad track, it's merely unfortunate to be stuck on album of an incredibly high standard. Among the jolty rhythm and glittery synth sounds, Madonna takes time to thank those who keep her inspired and motivated, even when "it's difficult to smile" or "hard for [her] to try" (it's unclear who the song is addressed to but take your pick from her mother, her children, her husband, even her harshest critics). Its empowering theme speaks to the listener who'll inevitably have someone in mind that keeps them going through the hardest of times. As Confessions is an album that takes inspiration from the 70s and 80s' music greats, this is continued in 'Push' with its lyrics that appear reminiscent of The Police's 'Every Breath You Take'.

Next Round: 3 November

Round 01: Push (06/12; 50.00%)

Soz, but 'Future Lovers' is my next choice. Similarly to 'Push', it suffers from being surrounded by songs that have a bigger impact on me.

It was the perfect tour opener though and I loved its mash-up with Donna Summer's classic 'I Feel Love'.

Also going for 'Future Lovers'. I like the song but it sounds like an intro for the last 15 seconds. Those seconds are the best and always leave me wanting more but then it stops <_<.
I love New York must be the next choice

I Love New York

Future Lovers going this early would be insanity. Isaac, How High, Like It Or Not, Forbidden Love and I Love New York at least are all less good. I'd probably throw Jump and Get Together under there too.

3 way tie :')

Get out. Especially at 'Jump' and 'Forbidden Love' <_<

How High and Isaac are the two saving graces of this album -_-
I'm going to be reasonable about this Regina and give you enough time to pack up your shit and evacuate Buzzjack before I do something I may regret.
Also, what LUNATIC is voting for HUNG UP. Did it cause you to go deaf from its brilliance? Or cause a loved one to spontaneously combust because of its brilliance? Or cause you to weep like a baby in public, humiliating your forever, because of its brilliance? Because anything else and you are insane.

Quickly closing so we can move on to the next round as I see the three way tie has finally broken, but I'll quote the last few comments in the new thread to continue the discussion/John's near nervous breakdown.
