People's choices for next out were a bit more diverse last round, with three songs tying, but 'I Love New York' eventually took the fall. It was written whilst on her Re-invention Tour (this original can be heard on the I'm Going To Tell You A Secret album) as Madonna wanted to capture the energy this particular city gave her and wanted to celebrate how, way back in the 80s, it helped her develop her tough, no nonsense attitude. This did result in the pretty choice lyrics of "if you don't like my attitude, then you can F off" and the lyrical genius of rhyming "New York" with "dork" but, for me, this is more than made up for by explosive, rock-incorporated chorus.

'Future Lovers' again for me. I've always felt like I've liked it much less than others but even on this album of such tight, high-standard, it fails to make its way up my rankings.

Aww i really like 'I Love New York'. Knew it wasn't going to last long here but i think second out is a tad too early.
