November 13, 20159 yr Author SHAKIN' STEVENS - ECHOES OF MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE This year marks the 30th anniversary of the classic ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’, which topped the UK charts in 1985, and Stevens’ continued popularity ensures that it continues to re-chart each year, in the UK and Internationally. To celebrate the occasion, it was suggested that Stevens re-record the song, in the style of his new album. How could one resist? So, adopting a feel of Folk Rock (as used on some of the tracks of the new album), the song has been re-worked, with the new title of ‘Echoes Of Merry Christmas Everyone’. During the making of the album Shaky learned a great deal about his family, and had discovered that his Grandmother and uncles were in the Salvation Army. Proceeds from the Artist's royalties for this initial year of release will be donated to the Salvation Army, to help with the excellent work of this caring charitable organization, as they celebrate their 150th anniversary. So here's the link to pre-order a CD of the single, to make sure you get your copy. It will be available to pre-order for download on Amazon and iTunes, very soon........ http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B017S9PHCG…

November 13, 20159 yr I can definitely see Adele holding on for the next 4 weeks at #1 in the singles chart, there is hardly any new material out, it looks a bit bare, unless someone drops a big single between now and the X Factor Winners track, she be doing the double when the album drops. A new Mr Oizo track :o with Charli XCX
