I would have thought so especially around xmas and surely magic and smooth will get on board its right up there street.

I'll despair if this isn't supported. Fingers crossed the supermarket shelves are restocked.

I can't believe the video on his VEVO only has 13,000 views and the other version has 28,000 and that's it!?

 

I think it's fair to say Will no longer appeals to the mass general buyer no more which is reality really :cry:

 

He's released 4 brilliant singles from the album and this single and 'Brave Man' music videos are insanely powerful and even that is not enough right now. It's all about a select bunch of artists at the moment that get all the radio play and no room for anyone else. It's a shame really. I'm glad he's with Universal Island as there's no way Sony would have kept him on with sales like this - he hasn't even managed to go Gold yet. Prior to this his lowest selling album was Let It Go and that sold 400,000. I know the music market has changed a lot with streaming but those sales are still very low considering that. I am glad that it went to Number 1 but the overall sales aren't very impressive at all...he really needs a hit song from this album like 'Jealousy'.

British singer Will Young is still riding the wave of his fourth number #1 album 85% Proof released earlier this year. Young has managed to alter the melody and arrangement to make it his own and successfully separate it from Bacharach’s classic. The control he has over his voice is commendable as he trills out each note, not to mention the emotion he breathes into every moment. The accompanying video supports the new WWF campaign with images and facts relating to the current issues going on with the world’s wildlife.

It’s one thing to be able to sing somebody else’s song, but it’s a different thing to completely make it your own. Both versions of What The World Needs Now Is Love are contrasting but Will Young’s rendition touches the souls of today’s generation. A wonderful tune to add to your playlist, and a suitable track to support such a great cause.

This was the comment he got a lot on PI. This is why I adore his covers - he always re-arranges the original whilst still, as he would put it, paying it the respect it deserves.
